Default A.J. Schable likely done for season

It looks like fullback A.J. Schable could be done for the year. He suffered an injury to his right foot in the morning practice. The final diagnosis isn't in, but it's looks like he suffered a fracture that will require surgery.

Also, OT, Frank Gore broke his hand and will miss the preseason.

thats sad. aj schable was a true blue collar type. an undrafted free agent that switches positions in the NFL. great guy i hope they dont cut him.

Schable is one of those guys its easy to root for....BUT the beat goes on.

Dang. I was really rooting for Schable, too. Losing him really does hurt our ST and short-yardage units. Good luck A.J. And come back later to help fill some holes!

He's under contract. So it's IR, and possibly followed by an injury settlement and release.

Aj Schable Is A Great Player!!! The Cardinals Need To Keep Him....could Be One Of The Best Special Team Players In The League. He Is A Stud.
