I work quite a lot in the Gretna so I have a wee affection for Gretna and respect their tenacity and battling attitude. At the end of the day my old man was a Rangers fan, so I was always gonna follow the Gers!!!

I must admit though that I've kinda lost the passion I once had for 'Soccer', not quite the same as my love of proper football...oh well such is life.

Well done to the Blues by the way, even though they beat Blackburn, my english team (who I have supported since like 1990 when I got into English football), I would rather see Fulham relegated anyways.

This probably won't make much sense to any of you who have never used the Glasgow Underground system. However, basically Buchanan Street is like London's version of Oxford Street. Only being Glasgow it is on a hill. There is an underground station at the top of the hill (Buchanan St) and at the bottom is the St Enoch centre station. On a sunny day you could probably see the one at the bottom of the hill. Anyway this guy gets off a train at Buchanan St and cycles down to the other station to get on the exact same train.

Hearts have looked pretty good all season, only problem is that they seem to have lost their form a little towards the end...just enough to give us Rangers fans a little hope, then cruelly take it away again.

They've just secured the services of Rudi Skacel for next season and the other foreign players seemed to have settled in well now. However it looks like a couple of players will leave over the summer, and with the instability of the management structure of the team it'll be interesting to see how well they do next season.

Looks like Andy Webster will be moving on during the off-season, possibly to Rangers, and there are rumours of Paul Hartley moving to Celtic too, that may weaken them considerably next season.

Skacel's off to Southampton, or so the rumour mill up here has it...Hartley wants to commit his future to Hearts but Celtic have been sniffing around something awful, a decent offer would really test Hearts resolve, if they accepted the offer I think he would perhaps change his mind!!!

They have two semi finals and Italy never qualify for the final as they are even worse than the entrants that make it - then again that might mean theyve got talent as the Eurovision isnt exactly the musical Olympics. All the countries vote for their neighbours etc noone in this country really gives two hoots about it as European music is wierd

Managed to get my Uni degree finished up and have been granted my PgDip so the absense from the board was worth it I think. Am kinda feeling out of the loop a little, anything interesting been happening of late.

I found myself in Florida for just over a week there but I didnt see much tv or anything to keep up with what was happening in the work of Gridiron and Big Red.

I would like to point out that I didn get me a 'wee' piece of artwork done whilst I was up in Orlando for the day, something I had planned to get done as part of my trip...my own Cards tattoo...hoping to give it a few days to heal fully then I may post a picture up on the board if anyone wants to see it?

Had to answer a good few questions from several Americans as to why "For the love of god, I support the Cardials, let alone have a tattoo done?" But its all good.

The draft on the other one screwed up majorly. Instead of getting 1 minute per pick, people had 5 seconds until the pick was made for them. A few people got teams they weren't happy with. Personally I was pretty happy with my team, but I didn't think it was fair keeping going when some people weren't happy....

Edit: People can continue using the existing league if they so wish, it's just I thought I'd put another one together to be fair to the people who got screwed over by the technical problems.

November 11th is Remembrance Day for Commonwealth Troops that died in action. It is Nov 11th to represent treaty of Versailles ie the end of World War One, and the poppies represent the poppy fields of Flanders (Belguim and Northern France )where hundreds of thousands allied and German soldiers died. This Sunday there will be church services all over the world as British people remember those that have died for us.

People wear poppies (paper ones) and all the money goes to servicemen and their families and the families that have given the ultimate sacrifice. Wreathhes of poppies will also be laid at churches and memorials for soldiers - the most famous ones being The Senotaph in London, and the huge Graveyards etc in France. There will no doubt be ceremonies in Iraq and Afghanistan also.

At the 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th month ie 11.11am on November 11th there will be a two minute silence.

Sorry if you thought it was cooler than that but hey I think its important to never forget
