i thought i was a genius after week 1. since then, its been downhill, today being the worst with 4 fantasy points. my backup, daunte culpeper, did 4 times better (16 pts).

My team totally sucks this year. These are the Arizona players that I have on my team. Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, Neil Rackers and Arizona Defense. Oddly enough I should have played the Arizona Defense today because they scored me 10 points while the Baltimore Ravens scored me only 9 points. I also have Big Ben and Drew Brees. Big Ben has sucked this year as well since he has yet to throw a TD and has 5 Int's yet everyone gives him a free pass. I didn't play Drew Brees today because of the fact Carolina's defense is tough so I thought. Big huge mistake. Big Ben is on bye. Although I did pick up Matt Leinart but he will be on my bench for now.

I had Warner but cut him when he got benched since I had Bulger. He never hurt my team, I was 4-0 while Warner was on the team. Since cutting him, I've gone 6-2, and Conflict of Interest is playoff bound! I'm so happy I knew not to draft Edge, that was my one strategy.

I got offered Donovan McNabb in exchange for Warner after week 2 and knocked it back. Poor move in hindsight but sh*t happens.

Edge was my first RB picked...uhh..first pick(#12)...he has been much worse than expected...but I also have WIllie Parker and Thomas Jones...you gotta plan for these things...it'sthe Cardinals after all....:d'oh:

LOL. I just went to my draft central and saw that I got Ben Rothliesberger in Rd 4, Kurt Warner in Rd 6 and Drew Brees in Rd 11 of a 15 round draft with 10 teams in the league. I took Marvin Harrison as my first round draft who has been a fantasy bust this year and Larry Fitzgerald in round two who has been injured a big portion of this year. This is the first year that I have NOT made the playoffs as I was officially eliminated after selecting Joseph Addai in round 8 and dropping him after a couple of weeks. He came back to bite me last week as my opponent picked him up about 5 weeks ago.

I didn't take either but I have to admit that if Warner was there I was ready to take him with a mid-round pick. The same is true for avoiding being burned by a mid-round pick with Rackers. I would have readily picked him up way too soon for a kicker but somebody else got burned before I did.

I had my doubts in the beginning with Larry Johnson because of the changes the Chiefs were facing so I took Edge in place of LJ along with Warner in the beginning. Luckily I had built a team that carried me even with these two mistakes (thank God for LT).

Since i've replaced Warner and Edge i've beaten my opponents by an average of 40 points and am in first place in my league..

I still have Boldin as a receiver and so far he is fairly consistant for me.

I took Warner in one of the late rounds as a backup to :oops: Jake Plummer!:crying: But thankfully I was able to grab Steve Mcnair in free agency.

I took Edge in the 2nd round after I already took Steven Jackson. I had zero faith in our oline but still wanted the guy. He was good for about 10 points a week. Of course Jackson was good for about 30 a week so that's not saying much about our oline.

So you had the opportunity to have both LJ & LT on your team and passed it up?!?

Rackers is not a bad kicker this year. His PAT are a simple way to get some scores from him. Also Edge is not hat bad. Have him also. Q WAS MY OTHER PICK form the Cards. I am 8-0 right now. Oh yea I forgot I got Brady and Moss!! And also Adai. And Dallas Clark. Wow I have a good team ;).

I'm in four leagues and drafted Fitzgerald in every one that I could get him (3 of the 4). The only other Cardinal I drafted was Leinart in the 7th in one league, to back up Romo.

NOBODY should have even considered drafting Warner before the season. The word "QB Platoon" wasn't in anyones vocabulary until Baltimore. Then, if anything, he was a risky FA pickup, because you didn't know how much he would play.

RB - Minnesota's Adrian Peterson (i say that because someone in my league thought they were drafting the Oklahoma rookie when the selected Chicago's A. Peterson)
WR - Anquan
WR - Fitz
TE - Daniel Graham
K - Rackers
D - Cowboys/Ravens

I'm only half game back and am the highest scoring team in the league...I scored 90 something points last week and the cardinals, which was a majority of my roster were on the BYE week.

Sorry, but you shouldn't be dissappointed with a player that consistently gets you 10+ points per week. That's just silly.

Hey Kid if you look at the original start of this thread it was for last year and last year you would have sucked having Edge or Kurt on your team since they both did poorly with the exception of Edge toward the end of the season. I have Edge, Q, Rackers and Cards Defense on my team and I am 5-3 halfway. I also have Peyton Manning, Reggie Bush and Steve Smith as some other quality players that are fairing well for me. Oddly enough I drafted the Bears Defense and the Cowboys Defense in which I dropped the Cowboys for the Cards in which I should have dropped the Bears as they SUCK this year.

We..It was a keeper league and I kept Fitz and Brady....Everyone stayed away from Edge...got him in like 4th or 5th round...picked up Quan with my first pick.....

Thats a fun league with all the defensive players added in. I have actually used Hester as a WR a few times and been lucky he has had good return games when i needed to use him. As you can see by my team i have had injury problems with my RB's & WR's.

Edge has been fairly solid as my #3 rb and IMO he'll pay off in the 2nd half of the season.
