Still think the name and logo needs to go

Some may still think the name and logo of the team needs to change before this team will ever move forward in success. I never used to agree with it but after the nonsense I seen this year (Warners fumble in a sure win, KC and Chicago games come to mind as well) now im starting to think it may not be such a bad idea after all.

Of course this will never happen but it would be nice to be called the Arizona Desert Hawks (or Desert Raptors) instead of the Cardinals.... (even though Cardinal sounds so vicious lol)

The best part is we can still call them the redbirds.

These hawks swallow smaller prey whole. Birds are beheaded, then eaten. Larger prey are killed with talons, and then pulled into pieces with the hawk's sharp, hooked beak.
Red-tailed Hawks will steal from other raptors, such as eagles, owls, or other hawks.


Just dreaming of how it would be to move on into being a winning franchise and leaving this dismal 100 year past behind.

Dude, I've had a disagreement with you before, but you did'nt really seem the type to go for this timmyesque stuff. If you want to get rid of the ownership I'm totally with you. Just seems that the so called "JINX" was alive and well in those three circumstances this year. Most folks in the past that wanted to change the name and logo because they thought it had something to do with the jinx were stoned to death (and still are) over a logo. Some of you think im taking a shot at the team or our logo and that is ignorant. My point is I wonder if maybe they are right ? Thats all . Nothing more, nothing less.

Hmmm...the opportunity to name a football team was missed when AZ decided to welcome the Cardinals instead of get a new franchise.

It's never been about superficial things like the name or the logo, it's always about the team on the field, the coaching staff, and how they execute. I've played for the Knights, Roadrunners, and Buffaloes, and I never once thought, "Hey guys -- we could play even BETTER if we changed our name and logo!"

I got a chance to choose our team name only once, and that was our regional track & field team, the Burners!!! Didn't help us win any more meets though, we just thought we looked cool. I suspect that would be the same with this team.
