I spoke to the ticket office yesterday they said the waiting list is only 4k deep. We are trying to pick up 4 more ( we have 8 and had to create another account and get on the list to buy more) 8 was not enough, the family had such a good time we need more and hopefully get them out of the hands of non Cardinal fans. The ticket office said they expect to flip alot more then 4k so there will tickets to be had for those wanting to get more but you do have to get on the waiting list even if you already are a STH. Is anyone else planning to get more.

2 more for me but I don't feel the need to get on the waiting list. With between 4 and 6 wins, there will be plenty of seats available.

We are on the waiting list for 4 tickets. We should have gotten ST's last year.
The Cardinals should yank the ST's out from any person who sold more then 75% of their ST's online. It's absolutely rediculous that brokers and people with no interest in the Cardinals (aside from flipping tickets to opponent fans) should have ST's when 4000 potential "real" fans are waiting.
We want to get in between the 40's as close to the ring of honor as possible.
Does anyone know when ST renewals start and finish?

We are going to get one more seat next year. There were 3 tickets for 4 of us and we don't want to share tickets next year.

How can they know this without renewals not being sent in?
I plan on adding 2 more. I think that all the Club Seats had licenses, so the additional seats will be lower or upper terrace?

:Cards logo: I am not planning to buy more tickets, just my normal two as I have for the past twelve years. I will continue to do so until the Bowties get it right. Of course I realize my ashes could be spread over some golf course before that ever happens. However, it is hope that keeps me going.

i'm getting 2 more. hopefully the guys beside me wont renew since they ticked me off and sold 4 seats to broncos fans last week. those 4 bronckites harassed me the whole game.

The league and teams have plenty of history to call on to predict how many tickets will flip. so I think there will be alot available for STH's who want more

It's called projections. 4K is roughly 6% turnover. The turnover rate could be MUCH higher with the pitiful season we had. I've already given them my deposits for 2 more tickets. From what I was told, or how I understood the waiting list, your position on the list is determined by seniority as a season ticekt holder, and not by when you gave your deposit.

I just talked to a ticket rep. According to him, it appears they'll only be using the actual sign-up date for the season ticket waiting list.
However, they seem more than willing to work with STH and try and meet there needs long term. They'll know more as the seats become available. There will be no Club Seats available - all were locked up with a minimum 3 year lease agreement.
I also found out that certain Club Seats did get BCS and Fiesta Bowl tickets. The top 2% price point of STHs were offered what they had available - those owning (4) Club Seats w/ a 7 or 10 year lease agreement.

if they did that it will probably be the 2nd biggest stadium in the NFL... LOL!

What a stupid post. You want the Cardinals to pull tickets from longstanding season ticket holders and you don't even have season tickets? What a joke. Where have you been? NO season tickets and NOW you want tickets between the 40's. language removed by fiasco

We live 1700 miles from Phoenix. Debacle lives 2000 miles away. Getting out there and back is considerably more expensive then the actual game tickets. Despite that, we made it to three home games this year and are on the waiting list for 4 ST's.
Longstanding ticket holders.... please. I'm talking about people who buy tickets just to sell them to opponent fans. I'm sure there are more then a few people on this board who have seats nearby where the owner is never there, just a different teams fans every game. I imagine if you asked them they would prefer the brokers got their ticket yanked and real Cardinals fans used those seats.
Unless, of course, you enjoyed having 15,000 bears fans there for the MNF game....

If opponent fans snapping up tickets by the thousand is a joke you are the only one laughing. I never said I expected tickets between the 40's, only that it was my preference. I will take the best seats available when ST's come up next season.
Remind me again, which post was stupid?

Yep!!! I sit behind the Cards bench, row 2. Great seats, not here to brag. But all around me and to my right in row 1 on the isle, never the same two people there. Way too many opponents fans. ROW ONE ON THE ISLE?? I'd much rather have you guys there, believe me. The people that have these tickets are 'business' people. They have them for one reason, to make money. It is sad, but it does happen in every city. Just not to the degree here. We can go way back and get crazy with this and ask where were all of the people wanting in now back then when you could have had tickets at ASU. Now you want all these brokers to go away, and I DO TOO. You should have ponied up (those that could) a long time ago and this would not be the case right now. I hate scalping and all that junk. Give me some Cards fans that wanna get loud!!!!

Back in SDS we didn't need ST's (obviously) because we could get in any time we wanted. It is my fault for not anticipating demand in the new stadium. I should have gotten ST's the final year in SDS. I didn't want to get just 2 tickets because we always go out with more people then that. This year I got Debacle on board for 2 tickets (i owed him $400 from the San Fran game hotel expenses and offered 2 waiting list spots as payment :) ).

People on the 2007 waitlist had first shot at single game tickets for 2006. After that, the remaining tickets were sold via TicketMaster in Mid to late July.
TicketMaster also offered AZ zip codes a 2 hour advance purchase. Tickets sold out very quickly - maybe 1,500 were available per game?
So now is a good time to call and renew??

I'm not sure TV games matter all that much any more as far as developing fans goes.
Things aren't like they were 'back in the day' when the NFL was only on Sunday and one game Monday night and if 'your' team was in town and sold out it was the only game on.
Now with satellite and the Sunday ticket package, Thursday games, Saturday games, two games on Mondays sometimes, etc. etc. The saturation is much higher. Sunday football on TV isn't the event it once was.
Going to the games is different of course but, if you're going to the games it hardly matters if it's on TV, eh?

This year was the first year I was able to buy season tickets and I had a great time going to the games. I have three kids but only had two seats, so I had the kids take turns going to the games with me. I'm hoping to pick up three or four more seats next to the ones I have and split the games up with a couple friends of mine. I'll go to every game and use the two seats I already have, but I'd also like to take my whole family or a couple of the kids together to a few games, although I don't want to do that for every game. It was great having the one on one time with every person in my family. The drive from southern Arizona isn't bad, but it does make for a full day. The only game I didn't go to was the pre-season game that was on a Thursday night. It was just too hard to do on a school night. One weekend my wife and I drove up on Saturday, did some Christmas shopping, had a nice dinner, went to a Coyotes game, and were able to spend some time alone without the kids for the first time in about a year. I bought seats in the $25 section and had a good view of the game. It's a great value for NFL tickets, worth every penny. Best stadium in the league. Even with the Cards losing record, all but one of the games were exciting and fun to watch. The Cowgirls game was the only bad game with the Cards completing their eight game losing streak and the Pat Tillman halftime tribute was botched. Good luck getting tickets! now is the time to do it. It won't be long now for the Cards to be winners and seats will be real hard to get.

Just called our account rep and we are on the waiting list for two more tickets. We now have two account numbers: one is our Club seats account (with related seniority - we reset this account number once already - BIG MISTAKE) and the other is our new waiting list account. Per our account rep, we should be receiving our Club invoice in February or March. I asked him if we could extend the lease to a 10 year (currently it is a 3 year). He said that he thought we would be able to do that and asked that we call him when we receive our Club renewal invoice. He thinks that it would be a simple matter of faxing us a renewal agreement which we would sign and fax back. If we in fact can do that, we will. As for the new seats, we will be contacted in April or May. He believes that the selection will be limited to the upper bowl, possibly some lower bowl, but Club is leased and was sold out in 2006 - the earliest availability would be the 2009 season.

I am gonna do my part and try like hell to buy 2 more tickets for next season. I already have my 10 year contract in Club level, but I feel obligated to buy more seats and send only Cards fans to the game. If no cards fans take my extra seats then I will leave the seats empty rather then have visiting fans sit there. I was disgusted all season and especially at the Bears game and our lack of home field advantage. I couldn't even talk smack outside the stadium cause I was surrounded by oppossing teams fans. Teams around the NFL get roughly 5-10% people that drop tickets for whatever reason. Now...Say it's on the low side of 5%. Since there are only 95% of the tickets that are season tickets, that means a 5% rate would be about 3000ish that don't renew. Could be as high as 6000...You never know. Now, if they decide NOT to do the single game ticket thing, then there's another 3200 tickets. So realistically, you could have between 6200 to 9200 or so tickets available to the waiting list. My guess is that they will do everything to empty that list....Next season will be sold out for one reason and one reason only....SUPERBOWL!

From what I hear this year there will be more fall off because people bought ST for the first year. All fair whether fans and since we did not produce a winner last year they will not renew. Just what I heard, so 5% could look more like 15% but who knows.
