Did anyone else notice that on the graphics for the Fiesta Bowl, the venue was shown as "Cardinals Staidum, Glendale, AZ"? The broadcasters also called it Cardinals Stadium several times. I bet that ticked off the U of P guys! I wonder if FOX or the Bidwills will have to refund some of that U of P cash since they didn't get the advertising they paid for? Serves 'em right. It will always be Cardinals Stadium to me.

sorry, didn't see the other thread on this one from last night. My first mistake of 2007! Yeah, right!

If I were the Bidwills and they wanted a refund, I'd tell them to go chase down Chilidog and get it from him...:poke:

They paid for the naming rights of the stadium, but last I checked the announcer can pretty much call the stadium what they want if the networks don't mind.
SF is Monster Park but I always hear Candlestick.
Anyways, University of Phoenix is probably too long for them to want to say so they just stick with the two words "Cardinals Stadium".
If they got problems they have to shorten the name ^_^ :Cards logo:

I think Pink Taco Stadium would have taken off, but thats just because people would want to be able to say "Look at the Pink Taco opening!" as the roof opens up.
