April 2007 Draft day...I've never gone anywhere other than my couch for the draft. It's close to the fridge and everything.
I'm 4 hours east of Phoenix in a tiny town called Sierra Vista but I was hoping there was a place I could take my kids (all under 16) to hang out with other Cards fans this year... is there such a place?
I remember there was talk somewhere about a get-together that is "standard" each year but I don't know anything about such a place. If there is such a place, is it ok for kids to go to? Just for the first few hours anyway.
Any info is appreciated. Trying like hell to get my kids to be permanent Cards fans.

I'm sure 100% and his fam at the DERBY will be hosting a great draft party this year.
His place is nice and very family friendly. It will be all about the Cardinals.
Shoot him a PM and he'll hook up the info!
100% rules!

Since you live out west the Valle Luna would be your best option IMO. They throw a great gig every year with lots of Cards fans. The food is great, lots of prizes, and it is family friendly since it is a restaurant.

You have not visited AZ until you drive the I-10 east of Benson...get off at Johnson Rd. and visit "the THING?", check out Klump Farms, visit the caverns...so much to do here. :)

The Derby is a bar and grill in Tempe, so you are not at someone's house.
If you are going to bring the kids then I would go to the Offical Draft Party that the Cardinals throw, there will be players there and some stuff for the kids to do. Maybe this year it will be at the new stadium!!!!!!
