I finally gave in to the "online sensation".

Unfortunately with the new x-pac coming next Tuesday (which I have already ordered also) I am extremely behind compared to everyone else. Noob yes.

Messing around with a warrior class to start off....

For the most part NO ONE online seems to want to lend a helping hand or any advice.

I'm level 8 so far (undead) and I seem to be outmatched by everything else. Right now although I have access to plenty of quests I just seem to be wandering around in "Brill"

Anyone care to offer their two cents on some help?

I played it for a few months last year. Fun, but a huge time-sink.

Anyway, I'd recommend playing a few different classes up to level 8-10 just to see what really suits you. If you just stick with what you started with, you may find you enjoy something else more later, but won't want to abandon your higher-leveled, but lesser-desired character.

The game is designed to give you quests you can handle in the area you start in, and then move you further afield as you get more powerful. You won't need a lot of help at lower levels, but it's not uncommon for two or more characters on the same quest to "team up" on the way to a quest. Don't forget to join up as well as share your quest, otherwise only one character will actually get the quest item at the end.

A good way to join a party is to follow someone heading outside of town. Help them kill a few bad guys, give them some magic bonuses if you can, and they'll soon realize you're good to have around and will probably invite you to join them. Do this with someone of your approximate level, otherwise they'll either want to do quests too dangerous or too cheap for you.

Don't neglect working on skills such as mining, herbology, alchemy, etc. The best way to make money is to manufacture potions, armor, etc. and sell them to higher-level (richer) characters.

Have fun. All this typing makes me almost regret canceling my account.

I'll give any Cards fan a hand in WoW... although I'm on the Deathwing server as Horde. If, by chance, you're on the same server or willing to start on Deathwing (pvp), my latest character is a 59 (a few hours of play to 60!)Tauren Shaman named Woohooz

Send me a tell, I'll run you through whatever quests you need... and hand you some starting gold.

EDIT: After a while, you'll find out that you can poop out a level 8 in one session of play so don't think you've lost too much by coming to Deathwing! Especially since I can throw you 5 gold or so your first day which should make life much easier. Our guild (all local guys and gals) is called the Fraggle Rock Death Squad and would love to add you to our clan of idiots :D

We can make you all kinds of gear and weapons for free, sir. The choice is clear!

The South Park WoW episode was the funniest show I've ever seen.

Back to Warcrack... I finally hit 60 on Deathwing (Horde) and have time to help anyone who wants it, answer questions whatever....

Send me a tell: Woohooz

I actually play this crazy game but am stuck in the Durotan server. Too late to swap over as I have a 60 hunter and working a warrior up to 40 now. I'll help any Card fans too if your on.
