I just re-found Warhammer: Shadow Of The Horned Rat for the PSX, and am enjoying it actually. Plan to get more older games. What old games are you playing currently.

I've been playing THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME on my Nintendo 64 lately - great stuff. I've also got MAJORA'S MASK to continue with once I've finished.

I don't game much anymore, but did play some NBA Live '95 for Genisis recently when a friend visited (it's what we played when we were younger). Man, was that a culture shock?
Last game I played was GEARS OF WAR for 360 (sweet graphics and game).
I used to be addicted to Socom 2 & 3 but kicked the habit thank God!!!

ECW Hardcore Revolution on N64 (I LOVE this game!)
Ever play No Mercy on N64? That's still one of the best wrestling games ever. Easy controls, fluid motions and lots of moves to pick from. And none of that stupid up, down, left, right crap to make it do a move.

Tecmo Bowl is probably the best game ever.....except the rules are pretty messed up.
Probably because doofy Japanese programers don't know the rules of football.

No Mercy was a great game, and was ahead of it's time in graphics and gameplay.
Yeah easy moves too. But with ECW HR, I can do them with my eyes closed including finishers.
I just hated how the game said "Hardcore Revolution" and well, REALLY wasn't hardcore at all.

No Mercy is the last good WWF game, I believe. After that it became WWE and the suckitude began.

Coleco Sonic HandheldTarget is now accepting online pre-orders ($49.99) for "Coleco Sonic Handheld." Could this be the resurrection system Coleco hinted at almost a year ago? It's doubtful; instead of ColecoVision hits, this all-in-one portable is packed with classic Sega titles.
Complete list of games:
* Sonic Drift 2
* Sonic Triple Trouble
* Alex Kidd in High Tech World
* Alex Kidd in Miracle World
* Altered Beast
* Assault City
* Astro Warrior
* Aztec Adventure
* Bomber Raid
* Columns
* Ecco II: The Tides of Time
* Fantasy Zone
* Fantasy Zone: The Maze
* Global Defense
* Kung Fu Kid
* The Ninja
* Penguin Land
* Quartet
* Snail Maze
* Super Columns

NFL Head Coach is getting re-installed tomorrow... it's only about 10 months old or something and full of bugs (which I can help you get around) but still fun to play.
You can get it in the bargain bins for about $9 or so at EB games. The online game suxxorz but the solo game is a lot of fun if you like to "coach". The Draft Day is the highlight... Mel Kiper does a lot of voicing on fictional draft guys and probably the most fun part of the game. By week 2 of each season, I'm already thinking about who's hot in college to draft later.
It's good for the PC because you can get a mod that makes the game much more realistic with sliders and the download update ( 5 megs ). The Xbox and PS2 versions blow since there are no updates and no downloadable sliders.

The WWF:War Zone and WWE:Attitude were good games for the PSone. Both were by Acclaim then the WWF contracted Yukes/THQ and they put out great game after great game: WWF:Smackdown!, WWF:SD Know Your Role, WWF:Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth, and finally WWE: SD Here Comes The Pain all but Smackdown! for PS2 but the Smackdown vs. Raw series has sucked big time. My favorite wrestling game of all time was the first one for NES.
As for football games, Techmo's games are still the best of all time playing them now. The music made those games.
I'm surprised there aren't any Silent Hill fans here besides me. The first 2 were great with SH2 being the best in the series. These games weren't just kill 'em up games but made you think through the puzzles. Anyone who did the cube puzzle in hard in SH2 knows what I mean.

My first gaming system was called "Odyssey". The think even had keyboard and a voice module and talked to you. Only problem, the controllers are HARD Wired in so once they broke...
Early 80's, anyone ever heard of it?
Intelivision was cool too. Seabattle and B-17 Bomber were my favorites.
If anyone has "Masters of Monsters" for Sega Genisis PM me. It's made by electronic arts.

Anyone remember Jumpman for the Commadore 64? There was that game and Ghostbusters. Jumpman was the best game I have ever played to this day. If I could find those two games I would buy a Commadore to play them on. Ahhh, the good old days.

This is funny: appearently, Toaplan (who was most famous for Zero Wing and the "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US" craze) released a Final Fight clone in aracades that time called "Knuckle Bash." I had to play it because of the validity of a side scroller, and after I did, I had to refrain from gauging my eyes out because it was so homo erotic. Seriously, one of the main characters is a guy who wants to be a wrestler dressed up like Elvis, and all these very well I'll call them "strange" fighters appear for you to fight through eight levels including one boss is a football player.
Fun times them old days!

Nice to see a kid who enjoys the simple things!! I still remember how amazed we were when PacMan came out, LOL. The graphics were just soooooo cool!! It was also so much faster than space invaders, lol.
Anyone here ever play Combat! on the Atari 2600? We used to play that one for hours, loved it that you could shoot away from your opponent and get them from behind, lol.
