It sounds like we are getting Miami and the Giants. I cant wait
I just hope that Wembley is ready, and we can put on a great show. I will be doing my utmost to be there, even if its two teams i dont particularly care for. (I will cheer on the officials)

OK my tickets arrived today. Over the moon to be going to a game. Gutted that I bought a middle priced ticket, and have been allocated the worst seat in the house.
I am in the top tier of the stadium, and if you drew a diagonal line from one endzone post to the opposite post and carried on, you just about be at my seat. Surely in most stadiums that would be the lowest priced seating area.
Where do the cheapest payers sit? on the tube trains outside?
LOL

Going to be wearing either my Larry fitz top that is only slightly too big, or possibly if its cold a few layers of underclothes and my Tillman top that is now about 5 sizes too big for me and looks like a circus big top.

As I taped the Bills and the Cowgirls last night I cant check on NFL, but I think the Cards are on the bye week when this game goes ahead.
I still cant think of who to cheer on. I cant think of any ex Cards on the Giants or Phins rosters..... So the officials it is. Penalize their butts guys!!

Cheer on the Dolphins..

The Giants could feasibly challenge us in the wild card if we don't win the division.

How exciting, even if you are sitting in the stratosphere.

Please take pictures if you get the chance. The husband and I have talked about going to Europe next fall. If the NFL makes this an annual thing, maybe we can time everything right so that we can at least be around for the game - the tickets seem pretty hard to come by.

Half a million people applied for tickets after the initial announcement. That doesnt include all the Dolphin and giant fans who applied through their own teams.

My boss who paid 2/3rds of the price I paid is sat by the 40 yard line in the lower tier. I'd love to know what ***** came up with this pricing plan.

The UK looks incredible today. We've just had two pretty chilly days so I guess Autumn is starting. The trees outside my office are turning. One is a beautiful Rust colour. I grew up in the country with a forest outside my bedroom window. I love it when the weather is like this.

Playing regular season games in Europe and Asia is just plain stupid. It is just stupid to take games away from loyal season ticket holders so you can make more money in the long run it could hurt the league here.

Whats the point? A lot of people don't like the US, so why are we putting our players at risk. Why are we forcing our sport on them anyways? It would be like them forcing soccer on us. It's not popular here and thats the way it is. Same with football over there.

back from seeing todays game and i am soooooo glad i chose to catch a cards home game instead of seeing the wembley game, i can tell its just not gonna be the same as having the experience of being at the teams home and the whole american experience being amongst american people and the culture, whereas the london game will be half full of people not knowing what's happening, when to cheer etc I just cant seeing the game being anywhere near replicating the tailgate and entire nfl gameday experience. Also there are so many impracticalities, if i was a miami/ny season ticket holder and had a game taken from my home game schedule i'd be pissed as hell. The travelling surely will hurt their midweek schedules, create jet lag and have effects on the players' performance.

Goodell: Super Bowl may someday be held in London

Oct. 15, 2007
CBSSports.com wire reports

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- A future NFL champion may someday be crowned overseas in a game witnessed predominantly by a foreign audience, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said.

"There's a great deal of interest in holding a Super Bowl in London," Goodell told reporters Monday. "So we'll be looking at that."

The commissioner said London's Wembley Stadium would make a great candidate for American pro football's biggest matchup, given the opening of the stadium's lastest incarnation and enthusiasm overseas for the game.

The NFL has been expanding its overseas presence for years by televising games around the world. It's held preseason games in numerous countries in Europe, Asia, Mexico and Canada, and in 2005, the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers played the first regular-season match outside the U.S.

The game at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City drew the league's largest crowd to date, 103,467.

On Oct. 28, Wembley will host the first regular-season NFL game outside North America. It took just 90 minutes to sell the first 40,000 tickets for the game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants. Goodell said event organizers have sold 95,000 tickets in all.

Goodell spoke about the possibility of a British Super Bowl after a luncheon Monday in Scottsdale sponsored by the host committee for the 2008 Super Bowl in Arizona.
