USC hands struggling Arizona its second consecutive loss

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Nick Young and the Southern California Trojans have been giving grief to the Pac-10's top teams while turning themselves into surprising conference contenders.

Young had 30 points and eight rebounds and Southern California beat Arizona (No. 12 ESPN/USA Today; No. 11 AP) 80-73 on Thursday night, handing the Wildcats their second consecutive loss and third in four games.

There was no struggling involved...all I saw were a bunch of ball hogs that stopped running the offense and starting looking out for themselves on the offensive end. UCLA will kill them if they play like that on Saturday.

And ASU only lost to UCLA (#2) by 10! I'm actually pretty happy about that, as sad as it sounds.

Now THAT was sad...ASU only scored 13 points in the entire 2nd half. The 1st half was decent, but you knew it wouldn't last.

6-12 is pretty rough man, but hopefully Herb can get a couple of nice recruiting classes together and turn it around a bit. I'm still keeping the faith. I didn't really expect much this season anyway.

I wouldn't say totally empty. Pendergraph is a nice player, but yeah i see what you are saying. I know he's got a pretty decent class coming in next year, from what i've heard.

Gee!

There's Nothin' wrong with Top Ramen!!!

At least our goceries don't melt or get crushed bewteen the store and the cupboards. U of A's groceries have nice packaging, but there's nothing of substance inside.

any loss = whooping

Suns Devils will be just fine. They are going to get better and better with the new program and will begin to build a tournament team very soon.

This is a joke right? There were plenty of Sun Devil fans on here when they started the season great, and were all bragging about how the Devils would top the Cats in both football AND basketball.

Well, guess we find out Wednesday now that I think about it.
