Well, the guys travel to Tucson tonite to play the Wildcats in a tough environment.

Play strong, with heart, with confidence and with Sun Devil pride. The one thing great about sports is that you never know what can happen and thats why they play the games!!

Good Luck Devils, play well...........

With the Wildcats losing the past few games, Id very surprised if this game is even close much less ASU winning.. Wildcats have got to be pissed and the lowly sun devils are the remedy..

On paper Gee I have to agree with the fact that the Wildcats should win easily, but in a rivalry anything can happen. Longshot? yes, impossible, no......

This is not a rivalry until Herb Sendek shows up to accept a challenge. Meanwhile, there's nothing like showing up to McKale with an ASU jersey on...

Anything ASU v. UA is a rivalry. Whether its football or tiddly winks. We just need to keep up our end of the bargain tonight and play them tough. Oh and KJ, if youre at the game tonight good luck! Ive been to Tucson with my Sun Devils gear and it can be dangerous. Take care......

UofA should win this game by no less than 40 points. If they don't than it would be considered an upset. So if ASU loses by 39 points or less or somehow pull off the "Miracle on Hardwood" than it would be considered a victory. Hey no one gave USA Hockey team a chance to win against the Russians back in 1984 on the Miracle on Ice so anything is possible. I hope we are calling this one "Miracle on Hardwood" after the game.

I hear your sentiment, but going to North Mexico for a B-Ball game is now becoming comical for ASU fans. I'm a glutton for punishment, to be sure, but this year I'm helping the ma-in-law move furniture. Won't even turn it on. Saving up all my energy for baseball season. :)

Why...So you can watch UofA spank the Devils on the clay field too??? Just curious...

Thats like saying Boldin and Edge both got a 1,000+ yard season so the Cards did great...

Or that the Raiders went undefeated in the Pre-Season

But I'm not gonna lie, I'm very afraid of what the Cats are doing.

I'm sure the outcome was never in doubt...there's nothing to sugarcoat, ASU's mens' B-ball team is unwatchable right now.

Herb sucks with mostly Rob Evans' players, no doubt. You're gonna have to give him a couple of seasons to get his guys in here. And by the way, anytime we talk U of A vs. ASU in FOOTBALL, Wildcats fans always turn the thread into basketball. Just hope you realize that by the end of the season both UofA and ASU will have something in common as far as basketball goes...neither will be Pac10 Champs nor NCAA Champs.

I doubt once he gets his players in here it will be much better.. What kinda philosophy is it to drain the shot clock till single digits then take a shot? Thats pure stupidity on so many levels..

Maybe he was trying to limit UofA posessions by taking as much time off the clock as possible and also making UofA play defense for the entire shot clock. I don't know. What i do know is that Herb knows this team sucks and he's pretty much stated as much. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt this year as these aren't his guys. Once he has his guys in here, if they aren't winning more it will be a problem.
Also, in Lute's first year at UofA they were 11-17

LAME! During the football thread, you guys were saying how we "cheated" by committing a helmet to helmet to hit or something like that. I'm sure basketball came up in there as well.

You guys kicked our butts and our Basketball team SUCKS, it sucks bad!!!

At least we are willing to admit that, unlike Cat fans who think their teams are the best regardless.
