Does anyone know if there's going to be a lottery for season ticket holders or if there are any other ways to get 2008 Super Bowl tickets at face value?

This is another good reason to get on the waiting list as soon as possible. The more tix you have the better your chances of seeing the big game.

It's based on the number of season tickets you have and how long you have continuously held them. Good luck!:Cards logo: :Cards logo:

But remember....A portion of those tickets are already allocated by Club Seat holders with 4 or more tickets and 7 year leases. Oh yeah....And Luxary box holders get ticekts too. That greatly reduces the number of tickets remaining in the lottery. Here's the ticket distribution:
AFC Champion - 17.5 percent
NFC Champion - 17.5 percent
Host Team (Cardinals) - 5.0 percent
Other 29 Teams - 34.8 percent
NFL - 25.2 percent
5% is 3700 tickets.
If we make it as the NFC Champion, then we will get another 12,950 to season ticket holders. That would be a total of 16,650. And yes, they go by order of seniority and how many ticket you have.
You're probably better off going for the 25.2% random drawing the NFL does, that's a total of 18648 tickets.

You're right Kid. The bottom line is the average season ticket holder's chances are slim and none.:Cards logo: :Cards logo:

We have Club seats - only two with a three year lease so that disqualifies us on multiple counts. But, if memory serves, the cheap ($100 per ticket like ours) Club seats didn't have guaranteed Super Bowl tickets no matter how many seats or what term the lease. Obviously, the Lofts and the $325 Club seats would be good for Super Bowl tickets. I don't know about the $200 seats.

3700 shots among 50000 people stinks but 18648 shots among millions is a little bit worse.

The following terms make $325 and $200 Club seat STH eligible to purchase (2) Super Bowl XLII tickets ... (4) seats with a minimum (5) year lease agreement. The $100 Club seats were not eligible for this offer.
The same members with a 7 year+ lease agreement were offered Feista and BCS Bowl tickets.
Entries for the random drawing are accepted between Feb. 1 and June 1 of the year preceding the game in question. All entries must include name, address, phone number and email address, and must be sent via certified or registered mail. Requests for tickets to Super Bowl XLII, to be played Feb. 3, 2008 in Glendale, Ariz., will be accepted beginning Feb. 1, 2007. You will be notified by mail in October or November if you are eligible to purchase Super Bowl XLII tickets.
Please send ticket requests to:
Super Bowl Random Drawing
P.O. Box 49140
Strongsville, OH 44149-0140
Please note that only one request per address is accepted. All duplicate requests will be disregarded.
When the Super Bowl was as SDS we got drawn by the Cardinals in the lottery then, so maybe it can happen again. We got two tickets at $200 each and it was really cool to go to the NFL experience and all the stuff that goes along with the Super Bowl.

It's interesting that when I was coerced into signing the line for five years at $8,000 per year, I was told, absolutely by my selling agent that we would receive our super bowl tickets in the same seats we occupy as season ticket holders. Now, I have been told it's a lottery for us as well . That is a bunch of crap. Hell, I can buy good tickets without committing for $40,000 for five years. This team needs to improve some PR or we all will bolt for the door. Not only is it the big stuff like the tickets, etc., but it is the little stuff, like we can't hear the sound system, No Pat Tillman presentation sound, they treat you like a criminal when you attempt to bring a small bag of almonds into the stadium because you are trying to keep your protein intake up. Give me a break, Cardinals.
I was told when I looked at club seats was that all club level season ticket holders (not including $100 club seats) would have the right to buy Super Bowl tickets with a 3 year committment. They did not say how many or where the seats would be.
I can't imagine it is more than two tics that one season ticket holder could buy nor are they in your Cardinals seats.

At dolphinsstadium.com, this is how they responded ...
Q: As a Dolphins Season Ticket Holder, may I purchase Super Bowl tickets?
A: Since the Super Bowl is an NFL event, tickets for the game are divided primarily among the participating teams, the league office and 30 non-participating clubs. As the host team for Super Bowl XLI, we will receive a small supplemental seating allocation consisting primarily of upper deck end zone locations. Unfortunately, the size of this allocation makes it impossible for us to offer tickets to all of our season ticket holders.
As a Miami Dolphins season ticket holder, you automatically will be included with all other account holders in our random computer selection process for the opportunity to purchase two (2) Super Bowl tickets. Your chances of being selected from our season ticket database will be enhanced by the number of seats in your account and your longevity as an account holder. The selection process will be supervised by the accounting firm Deloitte and Touche.

Sounds very similar to what the Cardinals have said.
I double checked the Cardinals handout issued at the time of season ticket selection. It definitely states that STHs with (4) $200-$325 Club seats and a (5) year+ lease agreement are eligible to purchase (2) Super Bowl XLII tickets.

It's interesting that when I was coerced into signing the line for five years at $8,000 per year,>>>
Coerced:
1. To force to act or think in a certain way by use of pressure, threats, or intimidation; compel.
2. To dominate, restrain, or control forcibly: coerced the strikers into compliance. See Synonyms at force.
3. To bring about by force or threat: efforts to coerce agreement
So which tactic did the sales rep use?? Did they randomly kick down your door and put a gun to you head or did they grab your hand and sign for you.??
I was told, absolutely by my selling agent that we would receive our super bowl tickets in the same seats we occupy as season ticket holders. >>>
You were told that the best seats in the stadium were going to the local season ticket holders, not the to the NFL, and this didn't raise any red flags?? By the way I have beachfront property for sale in Williams, AZ.
Now, I have been told it's a lottery for us as well . That is a bunch of crap. Hell, I can buy good tickets without committing for $40,000 for five years. This team needs to improve some PR or we all will bolt for the door. >>>
Speak for yourself and dont let the door hit you on the way out.
Not only is it the big stuff like the tickets, etc., but it is the little stuff, like we can't hear the sound system,>>>
Can hear fine in my seats in 122
No Pat Tillman presentation sound,>>>
The organization has apologized for this, get over it.
they treat you like a criminal when you attempt to bring a small bag of almonds into the stadium because you are trying to keep your protein intake up.>>> I guess you didn't take the time to read the stadium rules that were sent w/ your season ticket package. Besides there are a lot of foods containing protein available at the concession stand, especially in the club level.
Give me a break, Cardinals.
Give me a break.

I talked with Cards ticket office today about Super Bowl tickets and season ticket holder accounts. Here is what I remember:
(1) All Super Bowl offers regarding Club seats and lease terms have expired. Anyone who didn’t get in on the original deal is out of it. Even those who have been guaranteed Super Bowl tickets are not guaranteed their current seat(s) for the Super Bowl – including Lofts. Super Bowl seating depends on how the tickets are distributed. For the 2007 regular season, a limited number of Club seats will be available due to death, financial hardship, lease default, etc. The demand for Club seating is approximately double the actual number of Club seats.
(2) The host team/stadium receives 5% of the Super Bowl tickets. The Cards will first satisfy sponsor commitments, Loft/Club commitments, etc. The rest (a few thousand) will go into a drawing for season ticket holders. Apparently, number of seats and seniority as a season ticket holder affects your chances; but, every seat (from the very best to the very worst) has a chance. If we should be so fortunate that the Cards are the NFC Champion and playing in the Super Bowl, they will be allotted an additional 15% of the tickets which would increase everyone’s chances considerably. Regarding the 2007 regular season waiting list (remember: every season ticket seat has a shot at the Super Bowl), there are currently about 5,000 seats on the list; they anticipate that normal turnover will open up that many seats, maybe more. Entry in the Super Bowl drawing is automatic for season ticket holders – we don’t need to do anything.
(3) Existent season ticket holder renewal notices should be arriving sometime in the next three weeks.
(4) Super Bowl information will be mailed out to all season ticket holders in the spring.
(5) Waiting list contact will probably be May/June.

You're probably better off going for the 25.2% random drawing the NFL does, that's a total of 18648 tickets.I don't think all 18,648 of those go into the lottery pool. It's probably a much more ridiculously small number, like 500.

No...The 25.2% is the random drawing. There is a different % for NFL Guests. That would be corporate sponsors, etc...

Superbowl Ticket Information
Here is some important information about the distribution of Super Bowl Tickets:
Face Value for Super Bowl tickets (2003 Super Bowl in San Diego) was $500.00 per ticket.
The NFL keeps 25.2% of the Super Bowl tickets for sponsors, charities, former players, television networks and the host committee.
17.5% goes to each competing team.
The remaining 29 teams receive 1.2% of the tickets.
There is a 1,000-ticket public lottery.
I read somewhere else that only about 1% of the tickets were in the random drawing. So somewhere between 700-1000 tickets for the random drawing.

So do any tickets go on sale to the general public or are you *** if you are not a STH?
