A rare treat awaits you.

Whatever country you are in, if you have the cable station that transmits the English Premier League, then this weekend's game is an FA Cup duel between the wonderful Bristol City (Hurray), from the depths of the English third tier, playing in front of a full house, against those nasty Premiership marauders from almost the Scottish border area, Middlesborough.

Come on world. Take the chance, maybe the only chance you'll ever get to see my football team in a live game.

Actually, Fox Soccer Channel is playing Rovers-Hatters and a Southend Game. Too bad though 'coz I've never seen BC, it would've ben cool to see a different club. Oh Well good luck to ya! I always like it when the lower tier teams can beat the big boys, ('xcept Liverpool!)

well being from Bath and having watched Rovers a lot when they were at Twerton Park I am not Brizzle City's biggest fan.

Plus, Boro have Viduka and Woodgate, both ex-Leeds. As the mighty Whites are my team i'll be supporting them.

sorry:bibl:

Final score 2-2

Cracking day. Shame about the nomadic team from North Bristol, Bath...NOT heh heh.

Great to see Ashton Gate full, even if the rather creative attandance announcement would lead people to believe there were over 1000 empty seats. In the Dolman Stand where i go, there were more people than seats....

We self destructed early on, and two defensive howlers were pounced upon by our illustrious guests. Their reasonably poor support were in full mickey taking mode for the first half. But once my MOM Keogh scored with a header following a brilliantly worked free kick, we dominated Boro. Scott murray equalised with an absolute peach. From the angle I was sat it looked like it was going to drift over. I'm sure my screaming DIP is the real reason the ball hit the back of the net. Cue the City fans to taunt the boro boys with '2-0 and you ####ed it up'. 18000 singing that raised the roof.

We could have won it, and really with all our sucess this season, another game is the last thing we really needed. But a nice share of the gate up at the Riverside should help the club. I think we will be tonked, but yesterday was a cracking day.

Up the City.
