Do any of you know why AZ Cardinals let Thomas Jones go? He has had a few very successful years in Chicago. Jones can run, block, catch, and is a leader on the team. Was he hated in AZ? I'm just curious what happened. He had a great 2005 season when we had NO passing attack at all and still had a great year.

What was up with him in AZ?

He had three years with the Cardinals so what happened? Why didn't he produce here?

Here are his numbers:

the guy was absolutely horrid when he played here. Ditto for Garrison Hearst......

I don't think he really wanted to be here and he played like it.

Hearst was not terrible when he was here. He was pretty productive but got hurt. Then the team just gave up on him. Jones, on the other hand, showed flashes of brilliance like when he gained 173 on Seattle but his problem was that he just wouldn't hit the hole. He'd get the ball and then dance around instead of hitting the hole.
