Hi guys.

Looking for some advice. Summer is a few short months away, so I can sit in my back yard and enjoy the evenings with a bottle of cold, and a good book. Do you guys have any recommendations. Autobiography's, or books like Friday Night Lights. Anything with an NFL theme.

Thanks for any help.

Headslap-The Life and Times of Deacon Jones is a great book. Any football fan would love this book.

2 of my favorites were 3rd and Long by Neil Lomax(Cards QB 1981-1988) and They Call Me Dirty by Conrad Dobler(Cards guard from 1972-77).

It's not football, but I heard awhile back that Mike D'antoni or someone wrote a book about the Suns. Anyone know the name of it?

Go to Half.com. Not sure if any will ship to the U.K. but it wouldn't hurt to check.

The Dark Side of the game: My life in the NFL.
- Tim Green

While it's not a book about the NFL, I can't say enough good things about:

'A civil war: Army Vs. Navy a year inside college football's purest rivalry'
- John Feinstein

This book should be in every football fan's library.
