Nicely done! I will be there. I currently have club seats but I'm looking to trade for SAM"S Army section. Hopefully I can! Anyway, should be a FUN atmosphere and the Game will be intense, 2 new coaches not wanting to lose to their bitter rival. It's gonna be LOUD!!!!!!

Men's National Team
February 7 USA-Mexico Match Sells Out in Glendale, Ariz.
Fans Encouraged to Arrive Early and to Carpool to the Match to Help Alleviate Congestion
CHICAGO (Feb. 7, 2007) — The U.S. Men's National Team match-up against Mexico on Wednesday (Feb. 7) at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., is sold out. Ticket sales for the game surpassed 60,000 late on Tuesday evening, guaranteeing a sell out in the 52nd all-time meeting between the USA and Mexico in international soccer. Fans are encouraged to arrive to the match early and to carpool to the stadium in order to help alleviate congestion.
Parking lots at University of Phoenix Stadium will open at 3 p.m. and tailgating is permitted in all lots to allow fans to arrive early and avoid the rush. Gates to the stadium open at 5 p.m.
The match is the first for new U.S. head coach Bob Bradley against the USA’s fiercest rival and will be played on the first international fixture date of 2007. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and Univision beginning at 7 p.m. MT. Fans can also follow the match live online via ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker, and listen in Spanish-language on Futbol de Primera.
The U.S. has dominated the series of late, collecting a 6-0-1 home record against Mexico since 2000. During that span, the USA has netted 11 goals, while the Mexicans have failed to score a single goal on American soil in this decade. In the team’s last meeting, the U.S. used a 2-0 victory on Sept. 3, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio, to become the first team in CONCACAF to qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
The United States will compete in two major championships next summer. The three-time champions will first try to defend their title against 11 other teams at the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup, scheduled from June 6-24 in several cities across the United States. Just a few days later, the U.S. will participate in the 2007 Copa America, the regional championship of South America. The 12-team tournament will run from June 26 to July 15 in nine cities across Venezuela. For the United States, the appearance will mark their third entrance into CONMEBOL’s signature event.

My god... what the hell is going on with this team...
Andres Guardado (#18) was the only guy who actually did something. Is it the new scheme? Is it Hugo Sanchez's failure as a coach?
Good game guys. I'll eat my crow medium please.
I heard the Mexican fans were pretty unruley.. They mess up my football home were gonna have problems.. Its a FOOTBALL stadium, not a Futbol stadium!
:Cursing:

Mexico fans were OK Gee. So were USA fans, for that matter. It wasn't like Cowboys or Raiders faithful who have many spanish followers. These people have respect for this sport. I didn't see everything, but I sat in the 'ENDZONE', cuz my son is a goalie (see avatar). I thought it might get crazy there, but it didn't. I didn't see one fight, but I did see 3 things thrown onto the field but didn't interupt play. Kudos to ALL fans. Even exiting the stadium, I thought there might be some Cards/Cowboys or Cards/Bears type of game exits, but I left out the main gate and all was fine. The stadium is fine, just great soccer and fans too. GO USA!!!

Yo Fez, great game. I'm not a soccer expert, but I'm learning alot. My son keeps moving onward and upward, but I'll tell you something I never thought I'd say. I LOVE soccer, and wasn't a soccer lover before. It's truly a GREAT sport and I hope we get an MLS team soon. For those that poke fun at soccer, I was once one of you. But watching my son and the players he plays with/against, it just blows me away how hard this sport is. As far as tonights game, I thought the Mexico defense was excellent. One set piece and a breakaway for a goal was good, and USA's defense including Thomas was top shelf. Can't wait to see another live game of such a high level....

I was there, I saw a beer fly onto the field. but honestly, the crowd was EXTREMELY well behaved for how intense this rivalry is. Everybody got along. Nothing got trashed. There were no fights (that I saw) I usually see at least 2 fights at Cards games. There were a lot of families at the game which I guess conributed to the firndly atmosphere. Don't get me wrong, we were yelling all kinds of stuff but although It LOOKED denagerous, it was a pretty tame crowd there.
and WE WON!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOOOO

I saw alot more than 3 things thrown on the field on the news.. More like a couple hundred things.. But if thats all that happened then Im good with it..
I know these soccer games are a potential riot to happen anywhere in the world.. Things thrown on the field is minor to me..

We got beers thrown at us as time expired and it felt great. The Donovan goal was awesome, and Tim Howard played excellent. The Mexican supporters were pretty cool for the most part. I can honestly say I would buy MLS season tickets in a heartbeat if a team came here and the great crowd has to make us a contender for future WC Qualifiers and exhibitions.

there was confetti and what not but that's soccer. The LA Galaxy shoot confetti all over the field when they score.

Oh, ok. I saw two drinks thrown, one at USA during a corner, and one at the goal in the 2nd half, but it luckily fell short after hitting the post. Where did you sit Dustin? We sat in 118, row 21....

There probably were the occasional drink thrown or whatever, but when I rewatched it on TV all I saw were the usual streamers and what not. We were in section 123. We had a great time. International soccer rules.

A guy I work with down here in Tucson drove up there to watch the match...got there at like 7pm ish by the time they waded through all the traffic.....Their tickets were in Will Call for them....unfortunately his name started with R.....very common with Hispanic names.....They were in line for almost forty minutes.....went to the gates and 2 of the 3 tickets wouldn't scan.....Supervisor came over.......his wouldn't scan them either....things started to get a bit heated.....They confirmed with the will call folks tha they had just picked up the tickets.....
Well...When they got to thier seats...2 people were sitting in the seats that wouldn't scan......interesting.......not sure if Ticketmaster double sold the seats....becasue there were two seats next to them that weren't taken so they sat in those....of if the seats that the two people who got there before them were counterfiet....
Could someone have hacked the bar code system being used by the stadium and ticketmaster???? Did anyone ever have a problem like this during the football season??? He said the person had tickets IDENTICAL LOOKING to his numbers everything.....By the way...it was Section 105....
