For those of us who are unfortunate enough to live 2 hours from the stadium, where are the Pro-Cardinal bars in Tucson? It would be nice to find some friendly turf.

I can't say that I've seen a 'Cardinals bar' in Tucson. I had to fight to get the game on at Buffalo Wild Wings once.. They have 25 frickin screens in that bar and it took convincing to get the game on one of the smaller ones. That was last season though.

I thought the folks at Thirsty's were OK...then again, I was wearing Sun Devil colors and it was after the ASU/UA game. :)

north valley....you must have never heard of Valle Luna's. that's a Cards bar. most of the tv's get tuned to the cards games and the audio from the game is broadcast through all the overhead speakers. good food and drink specials too

We had 6 inches for 2 days in Sierra Vista (we're at almost 6k ft altitude is why)

Satan's minions in Phoenix may have a little football ...but basketball? C'mon...in the long run, you know Tucson will always smoke you guys :thumbsup:

Do you come up to the games? The reason I ask is because we car pool up to the games and you are more than welcome to join our pool. It really is more than just a carpool. We meet at Cortaro at KIDSTALLYN's shop and he then drives us up in his truck and we tailgate bigtime. I live in Vail and you are more than welcome to come up with us.

Thanks Jman, I sent you an email a few minutes ago about this. Since I still can't get final word about my work schedule for 2007 (worked most Sundays throughout the 2006 season)... I will probably be stubhub'ing for a few games that I can get to. I'd love to car pool and pay for gas, round of brew for the Kid etc..

Believe it or not, I actually want U of A to stay good in B-Ball. Because for once I would like to see the two AZ schools battle it out for the Pac-10 title, with no chance for the Cali schools to sneak in and win. If you saw the softball games between ASU and UA last year when both were top 10 teams, they were PACKED without any advertising at all. Imagine what will happen when ASU and UA are both ranked top 10 in football or basketball when they play each other...now that's what I'm talking about. :)
