Interesting info on Super Bowl XLII

During the 2007 season, the Cardinals will conduct a weighted drawing to determine which season ticket holders will be able to purchase Super Bowl tickets. The drawing will be weighted based on the number of continuous years an individual has held season tickets and the number of tickets in the account. Only those season ticket holder who renew their seats for the 2007 season by the due dates listed will be eligible for the drawing.

Additionally, Club seat holders in the Midfield and Sidelines categories with select license agreements have the ooprtunity to purchase a limited number of Super Bowl tickets based on the number of club seats currently in their account. These Club Seat Holders will be notified of their opportunity during the 2007 Cardinals season

Ours came in the mail yesterday. Our increase is about $115 total for two seats under the three year lease. Now, we are arguing about pay-online (the wife's idea) or pay-in-person (my idea - any excuse for a breakfast/lunch at the Tilted Kilt works for me).

I like the pay in person idea, even though I am sending mine in by mail.

The Cards Training facility (and there is a ticket office there) is located at 8701 S. Hardy Drive. According to Google, they are .3 miles apart; but, I think you could hit the Cards complex with a pitching wedge from the Tilted Kilt's west side patio.

the way i view that super bowl release is that NEW season ticket holders (people on the waiting list, etc) would not have a chance at Super Bowl tix. hmmm.....good thing i've had mine for 2 years!

My friend lives near Warner and Kyrene and we used to frequent the Tilted Kilt until he moved to Denver.

Personally, it's not one of my favorites, except the scenery of the staff is nice, much like the library on Mill.

BTW, Monday nights at Zuma's on Mill (right next door to Mill Cue Club) has the best looking girls (patrons) in town, but it's a little trendy and dressy for my taste.

Well, the wife and I went to the Training Facility to pay for our season tickets on Saturday circa 10 AM. #1 The office was closed (I called before going and a phone message said that the ticket office was open from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays; but, the security guard told us that only applies during the regular season). #2 The Tilted Kilt was closed (sign said they open at noon; the wife and I have eaten breakfast there in the past - maybe, it was a late breakfast but it was breakfast food so I am confused - doesn't take much). Anway, so much for the original plan. On Monday, the wife stopped at the Training Facility on her way home from work and we are good to go for 2007. But, we were not able to extend our 3 year Club lease. Lease extensions are currently frozen. Obviously, some option will be made available to us after the 2008 season and we may receive notice of same with our 2008 renewal but nothing is definite at this time. While I wish we had done the 10 year lease, we are really happy with our seats and looking forward to the 2007 season.

Sounds like when I go to the DMV. I always go at least twice before I get done what I went for!
