I remember that. He was a great athlete, as you can see. I guess white guys CAN jump. Dude's head is level with the rim or higher. That's about a 40" vertical during a game. sick.....

i don't know what we are looking at, but i remember chambers getting a standing o at the garden for a dunk he had from the left baseline.

KJ was talking to somebody about dunk contests they had had between several of the guys on the team. KJ said TC always won....when the other guy said, whats it like to lose a dunk contest to a white guy, KJ said "he's not white." (paraphrasing)

I bet he's the guy at Peter Piper Pizza beating his kids in air hockey and yelling "In your face!!!" so everyone can hear it...we had a nickname for Chambers in our household, especially when it came down to hitting clutch free throws (or not, in his case) - CHOKE.

first off, I love your avatar, can't wait to see 300.

The KJ dunk is my fav as well, although STAT and Marion come up with some big dunks now. Nothing would make me happier than watching Stoudamire put down a huge dunk on Dirk in the Western finals this year.

Sorry kj, have to disagree a little.
Remember '93 when we went to the Finals? Remember win #4 to get into the Finals? Remember Barkley was given all the credit for that season? Chambers, not Barkley played great in that game after coming off the bench while it was late in his career. Remember Barkley was hurt. Tom WAS CLUTCH, not CHOKE when it did count.
Kind of reminded me of the first Patriots Super Bowl. Brady gets all the credit, but Bledsoe played great in the Championship game when Brady was hurt. Why don't we ever hear that anymore? It's the legend of Brady that grows like Pinocchio's nose!!!

yeah, but they got beat........best in the league two years in a row and couldn't get it done.......with no MJ standing in their way........i have tried to block those years out of my mind and that KJ dunk always reminds me of it.
