If they bring back actual superstars, oops I mean if actually superstars would actually participate it would be much more of an event than it has become.

Whoo, Marion just pulled off a contest worthy dunk in the all-star game.

The Dunk Contest has been weak for a few years now, but I always still watch it.
I wish they'd get more guys than 4, and would like to see the "superstars" perform as well.
Last nights was decent with the props and stuff, but I wasn't too impressed, and the rules are kind of lame. If it takes you ten tries and two minutes, then another two tries, you should get a "1" in my book.
If you watch this college dunk contest, it BLOWS THE NBA away....
Watch the whole thing, especially james white from CINCI

I just don't like All-Star weekend in general. Complete waste of time. Why even play the game if you won't play any defense?

The dunk contest hasn't been anything since the Jordan/Wilkins era.

I loved the dunk where he put the sticker on the board.
The final was really weak though.
Nate Robinson (or whatever his name is, I don't watch too much basketball) tried like a gazillion times and when he finally made it it wasn't even that special.

I think its still a good contest, but the trying and trying again isn't good. Once they have tried and failed it the first time you know whats going to happen so even when they do pull it off you're not that surprised.
You should get 5 dunks and graded on each of them (only 1, maybe 2 trys for each though).
