I know the front office said it would be after March 7th before they look at seat requests. Can someone please post when they actually hear from the Cards and get an approved seat relocation. Thanks

The reason they said the 7th was due in part to see who wasn't going to renew. Since the 30% minimum is due March 1st, they will have a agood estimate on who's not renewing. But here's a rough estimate of how things will go (not including dates).

30% Due - March 1st (since we know that date)
Relocation Requests
Waiting List Seat Selections
Season Ticket Holder Seat Selections (those adding more seats)
Single Game Ticket Sales (if applicable)

The last I talked to our ticket rep, the Cards hadn't decided if they are going to sell any single game seats or not. If you remember, they held back 5% of the 64000 seats (roughly 3200 per game) for single game sales. This did 2 things. Assured that every game would be shown on TV locally to meet sellout requirements. And allowed those who could not afford season tickets the ability to come and enjoy a football game.

This year, they added 7 NEW sections in the endzone that were not available last season. They were there, but they were mainly used for VIPs (those performing at halftime, invited guests, people who wanted to be relocated due to issues with the seats they selected, etc..) If I remember correctly, this is about an extra 2K (18 rows with 15 seats in each section). I'll have to find that post later.

So, in doing some quick math. Last year there were roughly 60,800 season tickets sold. Lets say 5% don't renew. That's roughly 3040 tickets back in circulation for the waiting list. Add in the 2000 new seats, that leaves about 5K available to waiting list people. CardFanJoe's source said there were about 6K on the waiting list. That means roughly 1K could potentially NOT be getting season tickets next year on the waiting list. That also means that season ticket holders (if you haven't already put down your $200 deposit per seat) may not get to add on tickets. The only hope there is that they don't hold back the 5%. Since our overall capacity grew to 66000, 5% holdback for single game seats would be roughly 3300. There's always the possibility they have fewer single game seats available, roughly 2300ish just to wipe out the waiting list.....but, who knows......Everyone wants in since we are hosting a Superbowl this season.....

Just spoke with them yesterday. The rep said the list for tickets is 7100 and that they've added 1000 seats in the SEZ. First they will do seat relocations for those who they are able to relocate. Once that's complete they go through the waiting list from #1 to the bottom of the list. There may be instances where a waiting list person declines the seats available to them and they will stay on the list at their current position until the Cardinals can accommodate them. Say you want a lower bowl seat between the 20's and your name comes up and they are all gone. You can opt to wait for next year. Doesn't seem like there would be too many of those to me. Also if you have a deposit down on additional seats and you do not get them, the deposit carries over until '08. The money doesn't go to pay off what you owe on this years existing tickets. That's about all I can think of. Personally I think anyone on the waiting list is going to get a ticket. We'll know in a couple months I guess.

It will be interesting to see how it shakes out. I don't think anyone should 'holdout' for seats in a certain area. You need to get in line or you'll never get what you want unless you go to stubhub or ebay, but your name won't be on it. There will be existing STH's every year wanting to upgrade, and they will be able to do so before waiting list people. So by the time they do get to a waiting list person, not much real good stuff will be left....

Good point. You need to take what you can get and then try to upgrade, if you want.:Cards logo:

I have to agree with respect to the holdouts. It's still good of the Cards to allow people to stay on this list because life often changes over a few short months. Some might have financial set backs, get sent to Iraq, whatever and even though they pass on seats for '07 they still move to the top of the line for the future. Anyway - I hope all fans who want seats get them.

BTW, I forgot about those single game tickets. If it were me, I wouldn't bother with season ticket sales. Seems to me like a business should sell anything they have available rather than wait and have to go through all the hassle of single game tickets. I could see the owners holding a few hundred back for each game to be given out as favors or whatever, but why bother with that extra step for 3,000 single game tickets? Sell what you can and be done with it.

I don't have my paperwork in front of me, but I was told March 1st over the phone. If it states March 5th in print, then go with the extra 4 days...

As we are on the waiting list, I wish that the Cards would see things your way Tailgater and turn the tickets loose; but, it appears that there will be 2007 single ticket sales. http://www.azcardinals.com/tickets/index.php "The limited-allotment of tickets set aside for single games will go on sale some time in mid-summer of 2007." It will be interesting to see what that allotment is. Also, if we are on the waiting list and don't get the additional tickets this season, will we be given preference for single game tickets?

I asked about that Lazy, and the guy told me he wasn't sure what they were doing about single game tickets. He didn't say they weren't going to HAVE SGT's only that he wasn't sure if they would be handled the same as last year.

Did I read from one of you that in the past, they don't notify you of a relocation until your tickets came, or the final bill or whatever? I would think this would be difficult if you wanted to add seats.

Kid, in your conversations with the ticket office did notification come up?

That was stated in a letter with the invoice when I received it. At SDS this was handled the same way.:Cards logo:

What I remember was that because the information is fairly broad, if they can meet your request without changing your price point, they more then likely will not call you. If meeting your request requires changing your price point, then yes, they will call you. That's kinda how it was eplained to me. I'm homing moving my 2nd row tickets to the first row, and adding two seats. I put up my deposit for the 2 extra seats quite a while ago, so there's a very distinct possiblity that they may not be together....I'm going to have to decide how far away is reasonable as the two seats I am adding are for my twin 8 year old sons. Sure I would like to have all 4 together, but if I have to split, I have to split. My father could be with one boy, and I could be with the other. It would be nice if we were at least all in the same section. This factor alone may move us to the SEZ as I will have the best oppertunity to get all 4 seats reatively close since these are all newly assigned seats....

I find it hard to believe

a) that the Cards didn't just put you in Row 1 - due to your dedication

b) that anyone currently in row 1 would opt out which would leave space.

good luck though. You should be in Row 1 along with some other Die Hards...like Jelly (I think that's his name - the big guy who dances - He's AWESOME!!!)

I'm trying to get in row 1 too and my only hope is that the ******* scalper who must have the tickets in front of me because there is a different person there every week gives them up. But row 2 isn't exactly terrible.

Invoice Summary

"Below is a list of all invoices. Please select an invoices you would like to view or submit payment for and press "Continue."

Due Date Invoice
March 5, 2007 "

I paid my invoice online, in full, and I went back to make sure it was taken care of and this it clearly states that the due date is March 5, 2007.

Not sure if it is different for mailing in, but if you renew online you do not have to send in your paperwork.

Well....I ended up in Row 2 as literally EVERY row 1 seat field level was taken when it was my turn. No special treatment for the Kid. The good news is there are 126 New Row 1 Seats available with the 7 new sections in the South End Zone. I think the chances of me getting row 1 in my current section are Slim and None. The person who owns the 4 seats directly in front of me is a club level long time season ticket holder who is prepaid for 10 years....Not sure if he got those in the 10 year lease or not...but I highly doubt he dumps them. Although.....He never sat in them, they were either given to clients, fans of another team, and/or his kids.....so who knows with that one.....Most the people he gave the tickets to very very cool.....

Nope. I called today and was told to call back next week. I'm near the top of the food chain for priority so when I hear mine, I'll let you know. If someone else hears before me, let us know....
