Becuase that's the best they could get for some junky players?
They want to trade them all for a second rounder?
Five is their GM's lucky number so he wants as many picks in that round as possible?
They want to stock up on punters and kickers?
They figured it would make their draft prep like a boot camp for the front office?

The Rams had 2 5th rounders. 1 from Buffalo that they got for Hargrove leaving last year.
They just traded THEIR 5th to the Lions for DE Hall.

Wow...4 Mr Irrelavants....WhoopieYeah it doesn't count unless you have a 6 round draft pick and only for New England or Baltimore where they drafted Tom Brady and Adalius Thomas respectively in the 6th Round.
