Yes, I am an out of state fan. I live in Iowa and have been a Cards fan forever. I was wondering if you guys think of out of state fans any differently than the instate ones.

Thanks,
Adam

I'm from out of state, but very lucky that I'm close enough (SoCal) to fly in for some games....the Arizona Cardinal's fans have welcomed my friend and I, invited us to tailgate with them.....and we've only been a Cardinals fan (or NFL fan for that matter) for 1 year!

We love these guys (and gals), we picked them as much as we picked this team to cheer for and support through thick and thin.....Go Cards! :Cards logo:

I was born and raised in AZ, and I can tell you that there is a special relationship between native AZ fans and this team...a few of us have been here when ASU, the Suns, and the PHX Giants/Firebirds were the only teams in Maricopa County. We natives know first hand the culture of "also-ran" status that used to define PHX in general, and our sports teams in particular. We have watched PHX grow into a sports city, and we appreciate out of state fans a lot, but it's a unique kind of pain that we have endured and I'm proud to show the scars.

The Cardinals have earned a special place in the development and growth of this county, and even after all the mistakes they've made, they are a part of the state now. I'm still PO'ed that they took the AZ flag off of the new unis though.

Good point. I wish they would put the flag back on. I thought it was a huge part of the uni!!!

Back in the day when hockey was still alive to me (and that ended when they decided to can an entire season) and prior to the Coyotes, we had the Roadrunners. And, then there was ASU's club hockey team againt U of A's university supported hockey team - OUCH for this ASU alum. I had friends in Tucson who would come up here for the games and I would go down there. One year, Wisconsin - Stout gave U of A a run for the money. So many ASU losses - I wanted the University of Wisconsin - Madison team to come here and kick U of A's :Censored: Okay, enough nostalgia.

In state, out of state, out of country, off the planet, other universe or dimension, I don't care. If you are a Cards fan, welcome!

I can't find any in-state Cards fans in the real world so an out of state fan is more than welcome at the barstool next to me

I tailgate every single game. The next time you're in town for a game, you can tailgate with me and my boy.

Ah, the old days. When you could buy a ticket, any ticket to watch the Suns at the Colesium and walk your happy ***** down to the pricey seats because nobody was sitting in them. Our parents would take us as kids and we would run down and watch the game from the good seats.

In your waxing nostalgic, you guys are forgetting the AZ Wranglers of the USFL. WEEEEE!!!
