The relo process has begun. I'm starting a new thread because so many have inquired. The seats I wanted moved got moved. It sounds like it will take some time. (Hang in there, Kid!) My changes haven't hit my account yet, so don't expect to know right away. I hope you all get what you want!!!!

I have been a STH since 05. I just got the call last night at 530.

I wanted to get my row 6 seats and my row 4 seats together in 103. The 103 seats in front of me were ticketmaster seats and I was hoping to move forward. They could get me 4 together in row 4 but I would lose my aisle so I said no. I asked what I could do with my row 6 seats and they had row 2 available. So now I have 103 row 2 and row 4, 2 seats each....

woohoo

The fact that I've had movement means it'll trickle down to everyone else, right? They aren't taking additional seat orders yet, so those that ditched will be taken. It just comes down to whether or not they have what you want.....

Interesting, I just called the ticket office and they said that they will not call me and that they are not calling anyone. Why is it that everytime I call and talk to a different person they have different responses? Do they communicate over there? Do they have a meeting so everyone is informed? I think it is a crap shoot and you have to get someone on the phone that actually cares about his job. The guy I just talked to was kind of rude and just kept saying, "you will not be called". Funny since my ticket guy John said that he would be calling me this month about relocation. Also, I asked why people with lower priority are getting called before "the kid" and he said that they are not doing it that way? I said "WHAT!!!" That is rediculous. He said "Sir, nobody is getting called". Obviously not true considering some of you said that you got called. I am curious to see if they screw this process up, I have called them once a week or once everyother week for the past month so I am informed. If they are not going by priority I guess I was not well informed. :banghead:

The person you talked to. I would take him at his word. They aren't calling people. They didn't call me, I just got lucky to find out on my account. I think they take painstaking steps so they don't get sued, and I imagine it's not an easy process. Hang in there. The Cards treat their STH's well. The Kid, you and everyone will be taken care of fairly. Don't take what you read on this board as gospel, then tell them. Anyone can type just about anything....

Joe is absolutely correct here....Some people are being called due to confusions on thier request. My contacts told me that they haven't hit the '05 year group yet......They also told me that my request wouldn't happen as they don't have any available front row seats.....Which was what I had requested.....se la vie....hopefully I get get my boyz two seats seeing as I'm on the waiting list.. :)

I was in section 434 row 8 and 21 two and two and asked to get a lower row four together, now I have four together row 3 in 436!!!! Thank you AZCARDS admin! Our family will have a great view and great seats this year together. Sorry about the caps but I'm pretty excited. I really wanted four on the glass upstairs but these are pretty close to what I wanted. I am paying a little extra but still affordable. Good luck to everyone else, it sounds like it is almost random who gets to move and when. I called alot for a few months actually. Glad to hear most of you are doing well with your relocations!!!

So far I havent had any luck. STH since 1990 and am trying to move 4 seats from low in the upper level to Ring of Honor or high in the lower level (does that make sense?).

I talked with the ticket office yesterday and they said that they still have me listed in my current section so maybe Im not able to move because of where I want to move or because there are 4 seats? Any thoughts? I thought for sure Id get relocated because of my senority, but so far no luck.

Anyways, like Ive said before, some years you get lucky and some years you dont. Lots of times when you think youve got a great chance to relocate you dont and other years when it would seem impossible, you get your request! Go figure huh?

Oh well, just being able to go to the games and spend time with the family and the rest of you folks is good enough for me!!!

Has anyone who requested relocated seats seen the problem below?

I wanted to move two 400 level seats closer to my lower level seats. On my invoice, it shows that I "released" my two upper seats, but I do not see any new seats added. It's like they did half the work and then stopped. I called the office and a lady said to just wait until it shakes out in April.

Did it say 'released' or 'returned'? Mine says returned, and while I have new seats in their place, they aren't on my account yet, and won't be any time soon. So don't use your account as a guide, they just haven't got that far yet. Check your deposit also. If the amount is different that what you sent in, that portion could be applied to seats you don't see yet. That's what mine looks like anyway....

The only money mine shows is the facility fee. I have a receipt for my deposit, so I know I paid that. The invoice is a nice idea, but it hasn't reflected the May final payment due date, nor any info regarding the new tickets. I'm sure there's tons of people wanting to move and updating the on-line invoice will be be the last thing they take care of.

Hope everyone gets what they want. Can we play some football now?

I called once and was told the online accounts will be updated later, so it is out of date. I'm thinking when they finish, they'll review it all, make sure all is good and correct, then post our new seats....

You were right on the money, just talked to my ticket guy and he explained everything. You do not get called unless there is a circumstance that comes up and they need to call you. It is really a hard process because a lot of us have waiting list tickets and want them to join with our current seats. I am around number 2000 on the waiting list and it will probably be virtually impossible to get the tickets together. So do I upgrade two now and try to join them together next year? I am so confused, all will be fine when I am drinking my beer watching the :Cards logo: destroy the Lambs :cardinals: :49ers:

I think it will be difficult to get them all together, unless you take where your last ones are when you get them and move your probably better seats to where those are. You are better off just getting them now, and in the future try to get them together. Even though I have a high priority ('88), if I added seats after last season started, I wouldn't be able to get those added seats near the ones I have. I would have been in line too. And I think it's fair. My priority is good for most things, but it wouldn't be fair to hoard a whole section or something like that....

Actually, I'm going to be in the section next to the players entrance (section 144). BOO-YEAH!

I think they are going to be GREAT seats...Pre-Game warm ups....Dancing Cheerleaders.....AND....It also gives me the best oppertunity to get my 2 new seats for my kidz in that section, seeing as none of those seats were season ticket holders so, hopefully I've got a small enough priority on the new seats to get them in there...

Just got the call, I had to take the gamble also, the chance to be in row 1 was just too good to pass up. I already printed, signed and mailed my waiver back in. Section 144 would be the ultimate, being able to cheer on the red birds as they take the field, congrats on that. I'm down a couple sections in 139 which is fine with me, I can still tourment the enemy atleast. It was fun sitting next to the Red Heat crew but front row is hard to beat. Just curious there is nothing behind the south end zone so how do you get to your seats and where do you enter? What about concessions and restrooms? and cup holders? I do know that the seats are folding chairs bolted down to bleachers and that once the field rolls behind the SEZ it then becomes parking for the players, the visiting team buses and Cardinals staff, so do you guys walk down the driveway to enter?

I must not have what it takes to get that little extra cuz Ive asked 3 different ticket people to give me a call with my relocation status and theyve all told me that they dont do that and I'll just have to wait until the next mailing comes out.

They said they would put us in "like" seats. That being said...If they go away, it's going to be due to the fact that a lot of people have dropped as season ticket holders......So chances are, if they are making the decision to remove those seats, there's going to be plenty of good seats available somewhere....

I think we have to drop in by parachute. That may be kind of tricky if they don't open the roof! Seriously though, that is a good question. I was so excited I forgot to ask. They did tell me it will be set up like the Fiesta Bowl. I wasn't there for the Fiesta Bowl but if somebody was, maybe they could let us know how it was set up?

Hey Arby,
I think the only reason that we may have got a call is the fact that we had to agree to the chance of losing our seats if they get rid of the SEZ after this year. They then had to send us a waiver to sign. If you requested a move to the SEZ I would assume they would call you, if not they may not find it necesarry if your relocation request was easy to comprehend. If it wasn't for the waiver I don't think I would have been called either.

I know on the stadium tour there were some stairs (or an elevator) that got you to ground level from inside the stadium....If that's how we go in....Should keep out the riff raff... Just think....Won't have to climb 80 some odd stairs to get back out the stadium.....

I sat in the South End Zone for the Denver game last year and they made us take the stairs down. The stairwell was on the east side of the Budwieser Red Zone. There is an elevator, but it goes down into the hallways behind the main level stands, there is no public access to that area.

Unless they open the elevators, i'm affraid you will still have to climb the "80 some odd stairs" to get back up.

From the map it looks like the new stands in the SEZ will be a little better than the temporary ones they had last season, I didn't really like the folding chairs they had us sitting in, but the view was nice.

Now we know how people will go to their seats. Now the next problem....restrooms. We only saw them along the wall on the west side. Are there any more? If not, I can see these being blocked off just like they did at SDS when the players of both teams entered and exited the field. What a mess because it blocked the restrooms and one must learn self control or suffer.

Yeah we just had a private tour of the stadium and on ground level as you call it, but on game day the cardinals players, cheerleaders, bigred and cardinals staff will use that elevator and people sitting in the SEZ will be not be allowed to use the elevator.

But the bigger question what about the restrooms?

Yes there were a couple of restrooms on the west side, but you are right they were blocked off and closed during player warmups before the game and throughout most of halftime because they are right next to the players tunnel. The only other restroom that the usher pointed out to me was a small family RR on the east side but the line was about 20 deep at the start of halftime, so i ran upstairs and wandered around untill i located a RR with a short line. So sitting in the SEZ might require strategic restroom visits (plan ahead, if possible).

Also, they had only a couple of small food and drink stands down there so i had to run upstairs when my kids wern't happy with the food selection and demanded nachos.

With more people sitting down in that area, i hope the Cardinals will increase the number of food stands and maybe rework the restroom situation. Because it was a little inconvienient. But the view was Great.

I agree that the view is going to be great as the seats will be at a steeper angle than in the north end zone. I bet you will sit higher and see more over the person who sits in front of you.

Cats and I were thinking about moving to the SEZ as we were in Section 40, Row 27 at SDS. But there were to many variables as we like our seats in the ROH, easy to get to food, beer, restrooms, entering and exiting the stadium.

We wish everyone good luck in the new southend zone and hopefully they, the Cardinals, will make those permanent seats and never take them away from the fans.

Food and beer don't mean much to my while at the game...If I need it....There's usually a water guy that comes around.....Not sure over there...but they may come in.....I eat enough food and beer at the tailgate to keep me going strong throughout the entire game....

R U the guy with the green armpits? 92? I hope all you gamblers in the south endzone find everything your looking for. As far as the Cardinals needing to win to keep your seats for the 08=09 season, the pressure is on. If they don't make the playoffs I don't think there will be another sellout season. Therefore no south end zone. :grouphug:

They zeroed-out my total on my invoice, so I can only assume I am moving down from the nose-bleeds.

crisper, what sections did you put in for & how many seats? i am a few rows ahead of you in 412 so i'm trying to see if i may be moving also. since i already paid my invoince in full i don't think mine will change to "returned", so i can't tell that way.

has anyone heard when they are mailing the april invoice?

I was really broad in my request. I just wanted to be on the home sideline in the lower bowl, preferably as close to midfield as possible, and near an aisle. I also said if this wasn't available, I'd be willing to move closer to the bottom of my section. I just don't want to walk up all those stairs this season.

Still haven't heard anything yet. SInce they zeroed out my total, I assume I am not staying in my section.
