Oops! Westbrook was paid bonus twice

Philadelphia Inquirer: "The Eagles admitted yesterday that an accounting gaffe resulted in the team's paying its star running back a $3 million roster bonus twice. The Eagles have been forced to file a grievance with the NFL against Westbrook because the money has not yet been repaid."

Can you imagine that .. ?? a $3 million dollar error .. wow .

And it sounds like Westbrook was trying to keep it .. I guess he could play dumb and say he received a check and put it in the bank .. he thought it was an added bonus ...

Reminds me of a story that Jim Brown told reporters after a game where he bit off a finger of some linebacker.

"Jim, why did you bite his finger off?"

Jim (can't remember exact words but the message is the same), "Look... everything outside this helmet he can have... everything inside this helmet is MINE."

I wonder what would happen in today's game if Edge did that? It's priceless and he was right, IMO, but can't you just see and hear the uproar around the league??? :whistle:
