You dont know that. But hey this is the nfl, anything can happen, but if your recievers do get by ty it is not because he got burnt it will be because Q is that good.

Boldin is going to steam roll Law, and put him into early retirement.

No one can...at least not both. Thats darn near impossible.

I was reading this article on Law the other day. Sure, you gotta give him props for his 10 picks. The article did say that usually the really good CBs are the ones with less picks, because QBs know not to throw it that way often. Come to think about it, Law did get burned several times. I guess he got it thrown on him a lot, so he was bound to make those picks...

Heh, the guy who cheated the Rams out of a Superbowl (you take a look at Superbowl XXXVI gamefilm and you'll see HORRIBLE calls) may now help save a bad Rams defense. Dang the NFL is ironic.

if he stays healthy, he can be a shut down corner.

How is Ty's rehabilitation going?

I really didn't think he would ever play again after I say LT light him up.

I don't think a player is ever truely 100% again after an injury like that. From what I saw, his speed dropped some, but his coverage skills were still OK. Heck, the dude had 10 picks, so even if that was pure luck, 10 picks is amazing.

I do think Law limped around a bit last year. One good hit would probably knock him out (he is getting pretty old).

But for the Rams, he should be a great fill in, and tutor for their younger CBs. And Butler was a stud 2 years ago, but had to miss the whole year with injury.

Dang, Bulter and Law may be very dangerous this year.

I hope so, and i still believe that if jerametrius butler would not have got hurt he would have been one of the top Cb's in the nfl.

Yep. The team had I think 6 or 7 INTs 2 years ago, with Butler having 5 of them. Butler would have made the Pro Bowl and led the Rams in picks again, I think. He should be back this year.

They may be dangerous for the rest of the league.......but I don't know how you can guard 4 explosive WRs.

Yea I missed butler so much last year, and i am glad we are getting him back.

But have you herd the rumor of travis fisher being moved to FS?

I stated it in another post.... The Rams will struggle next year. They have the talent but, with a new head coach with new ideas and, a plan to take the team in a new direction... The one thing us Cards fans do know well is what to expect when you get a new head coach and a new system. Sorry to bust your bubble (The-King) but, truth is... With a new head coach. He'll have talent that's for sure but, it'll take him at least a year or, two to get all that talent on his page and by then. alot of your premiere players will be abit older and slower. The Cards have a young team that has gone through growing pains but, they all know exactly what system they will be running and, on the same page as far as play calling goes... I have to give the EDGE to the Cards... At least this year...

It's 12:06Am Saturday morning and there is nothing on ESPN about Law or in the St Louis Post Dispatch.
I have to laugh at some of the posters in this thread. Yeah...the guy really sucked last season. 10 picks...he's a bum...why would anyone want to sign him? The guy is a winner and makes plays. End of discussion.

Good to see other teams fan admit they can be hurt by simple talent.

I think it's good to see the Rams fan come on this board knowing with a new coach and new system we will kick their butts next year... Truth is the Rams fans know we have dealt with enough coaching changes that no matter who they get in F.A and draft we know what this year holds for the Rams..

Don't believe I've heard that. I don't know why the Rams let go of Furrey, I thought he was pretty good last year. Heck, I don't know why they let go of Aeneas Williams! Surely he could have gotten over his injury throught last year's offseason, and probably would have been a lot better than many of the guys the Rams stuck in at FS.

Williams is still a free agent, I think. Hasn't retired yet.

Just because it happens to the Cardinals when they hire a new coach, doesn't mean it happens to all other teams, and it doesn't mean it will happen to the Rams.
