I caught this video on CNN's site, it is of the Mississippi Braves manager losing it after being tossed from the game.

Personally, I liked the grenade toss the best.

I think you are very close. I get the impression from his initial jesture with his hands and then his re-drawing of home plate that he was tossed out for complaining about the umpire calling a wide strike zone against his hitters.

As I stated in another post, this ***** should be fired. I've seen 3 year olds throw tantrums that weren't this bad. As for the reasoning for his actions, it looked as though the umps strike zone wasn't big enough so he covered the plate and drew a bigger plate. That should have been enough but then he had to act like a petulent child and throw the bases as well as crawl on the ground and toss the rosin bag like a grenade. At that point had I been the head umpire I would have forfited the game.

This is why sports in this country is going to pot. Each individual on the field thinks that the crowd came to see them and them alone. There is no team anymore. From now on they should spell it teaME.

Not to mention a spot in The Hall of Infamy. That guy will be clowned until the day he dies. If he ends up w/ one of those video tombstones, it'll have that clip playing in a loop until the end of the sun. (they're solar powered).
