I've got some friends that have been season ticket holders for more than 15 years and when they tried to get better seats during the offseason the Cardinals told them to keep walking. Was anyone (that tried) able to improve their seats?

If they had tickets for 15 consecutive years they pretty much had their choice for the inaugural season. They should have picked the seats they really wanted then. Not many people gave up their seats last year, for many reasons including the 2008 SB. Also, the number of seats they wished to move was a factor. At this point they are pretty much stuck with their seats because the Cards are getting nothing but better, and supply and demand will dictate what is available.

I guess it depends on what you consider an upgrade. It seems most people like the sideline view towards the center of the field. Myself, I like the endzone. Not so much for the veiw, but for the atmosphere. I was able to move from row 9 in the north endzone, to row 1 in the new south endzone. The thing is, we had to sign a waiver agreeing to the fact that if they decide to do away with these seats sometime down the road, we are screwed and will need to look for somewhere else to sit. I had to take the gamble. We are very happy with our upgrade because I can now mess with the players from the other teams and yell words of encouragment to our birds. The seats your friends requested may have just not been available unfortunately.

I was able to move my two seats down to the main level from the terrace level. :cardinals:
I requested a change from Club Corner to Club Goal Line, with very specific requirements regarding row and seat locations,
and the Cardinals were gracious enough to follow through and accommodate my request.

We tried as well, and the Cardinals were willing to accommodate us as well. BUT - After careful consideration... and the fact that I already KNOW my fellow Section 208'ers play well with others and rarely run with scissors - we stayed PUT.

I had an additional 2 seats on my account (for family) that were in section 104. Those 2 got upgraded to 109, only 5 rows behind my seats....

We got upgraded from Terrace to front row ROH. We were first time season seat holders. But my 1st choice was best available ROH. We moved from 10 yd. line to 5yd. line, but assume these seats will be worth it. I'll let you know. It really depended on where you wanted to move. If you want 50 yard line and don't have them now, you're probably not going to get them.

Yep...I moved mine from Row 2 to Row 1.

I put in for a move - not really an upgrade as I stayed in the same price range - and did not get moved during the time that moves were done.
During that time I kept reading here how people were getting moved all over and so, I called. The person I spoke to pulled up my request, read what it said looked and immediately found seats that fit the parameters which were 'anywhere in the same price range or lower, rows 1-10.' Thats works out to two seats in row 1-10 in any one of 12 sections. Pretty wide open and I figured easy to accomodate.
He couldn't explain, when something fitting what I had asked for popped up so readily, that my move didn't get processed during the move phase but, I got what I wanted so didn't really push.
