Again this week the Card's game is about the only one of the first games not in HD on Directv. :crybaby: :crybaby:

I have to say, this confuses me..

Sports events are one of the main selling points for HDTV. Seriously, who needs HD to watch re-runs of "Saved by the Bell?" People get HD for movies and sporting events.

I find it baffling why any major sports event would not be broadcast in HD. When you consider it's in HD on Cable, that's a pretty bad move for DirectTV. I just don't get why.. does anyone know the reason that they don't do HD for every game? I'm glad I have Cable that's for sure.

Does it have something to do with the Cardinals and their popularity? Last time I checked we weren't considered a small market city. What gives?

Good question I don't know. They don't do every game in HD on Directv but most of them. This is second week in a row that we are just on in SD.

Terrible. This is unacceptable, I have Direct TV and watching a game that is not in HD is almost unbearable.

Must be just a DirecTV thing becasue Comcast on my local channels has the game in HD.

It must be because DirecTV has the Super Fan games in HD and they don't have the bandwidth to broadcast the local game.

This is stupid. I'm really mad at DirecTV right now.

Not to worry though, the Redskins Giants game is in HD :brickwall:

I called DirecTV to complain about the lack of an HD broadcast. Very disappointing.

But unless the game goes better in the second half...well, no HD is the least of my sorrows.
