On the last play of the game following a sack and a clear holding penalty on the Steeler O-Line (although I saw holding all day from that O-line) the penalty was declined and the clock was stopped the Steelers had 0 time outs left.
My question is why was the clock stopped and not start running since there was no penalty and the play ended w/ a sack. At the least a 10 second runoff should have occurred and at most the clock should have restarted as soon as the penalty was declined. Any thoughts cause I was shouting at the TV for the clock to start.

Is it really a big deal? Why can't you just enjoy the win instead of posting crap EARLY in the morning.

The flag wasn't accepted. Im outta here

well it let the steelers run another play and possibly 2 if they completed it and ran OB.

When you have weird games in the past I don't like leaving anything to chance and I could just see the Steelers scoring a TD there despite being sacked on the last play and the clock stops.

I am enjoying the win very much so.

I think the ref made a time clock mistake on this one. I too think the clock should have started after the Cards declined and the ball was set.
