matt had huge success against the rams last year so it only makes sense for him to play the COMPLETE game and do like he did last year...unforunately whisenhunt hasn't showed the most common sense lately...

You Leinart Homebois are downright comical.
The last two weeks, we play qualilty D's, Matty looks lost, and KW saves his bacon.
But this week, we're playing a shitty team, so let Matty Boi get all the snaps. That's good stuff.
This team is about to go on a playoff run.
Something this franchise hasn't done very often.
Let's get real and let's get serious.
Put Matty Boi on the bench, and let him and all of his homebois cry in their "sauvignon blanc"!!!!!!!

You are being sarcastic right? You have to be joking.
Whisenhunt is making some tough and amazing calls as a rookie head coach. Common sense is not what makes a coach great...that would make him mediocre, or common.

You see that's the problem...Matt's success was all shown last year this year he played himself out of the starting position (imo) and the fact that Whis still lets him play shows that Whis is patient and is willing to let Matt play himself back into being the starter, however, if matt doesn't pick it up in the next game or two i don't think the back and forth will continue much after that and it will be strictly KW.

I am surprised you don't have Matt wearing his USC jersey as your avatar. Matt and Warner each have a role in what appears to be a well thought out plan. I hope they each light up the Rams.

Obviously, you hold no bias...Leinart_7!!!
It makes sense if he is playing well...Duh. How can you say Wisenhunt hasn't shown common sense? Where have you been...under a rock?
His scheme won us a great upset yesterday. This was a complete team win. This is the best victory we've had in a long time with all cylinders com busting full force.
Is this your way of saying "I luv and support Matt no matter how bad he is playing " thread? I'll make it easier for you , why don't you just join his fan club , pay your membership and write personal letters to him in hopes of getting a signed poster or something. This is a team effort from this point on and no player is greater than the team. If Leinart play well don't take him out, if we fall behind or can't produce in offense...play Kurt...That simple. No need to bash Wisenhunt.

i took my avatar pic..thanks though. taking leinart in and out of games is not going to do anything for him as far as progresssing. warner can make a couple of plays when the defense is off guard, big deal. last year leinart played a solid rams D that was supposed to go to the playoffs before choking. i guess we'll see on sunday.
and his fan club is FREE btw

man, I can gurantee you that no one here cares about that. we want to win now. We have been waiting 10 years for just a playoff birth.

Again who cares what Matt did last year, he's not doing anything this year and has more than a few plays to show it. Again Matt should consider himself lucky he wasn't out right benched like Grossman but instead is still being allowed to try and play himself back into being a starter.

I have to agree 100%...and right now Kurt Warner is leading us to wins. Matt MUST work hard or he can sit on the bench and pout. Time to grow up and work for your job.

I hate to say it being a big Lionheart supporter but Warner is getting it done.
Lets just hope for a Montana/Young situation! Though Warner is no Montana he is a good quarter back who came from rags to riches. The guy knows the game and has shown tremedous leadership.
Matt is our future no doubt but as NFL goes this is a win now league.

Amen.. Maybe this "shuffling" of qb's is being done to motivate matt? Seriously Matt rather then sulf.. man up and get your *** in the film room, break down your opponents and impress the coaches.. Prove it on the field.. Next week, against a less-then-stellar , but probably very hungry Rams team... show the coaches what you can do..

1. Next time try and get the whole head inthe pic, Matt does not have a bald spot, yet!
2. Matt has made fair progression this week, so it seems to be doing something for him already.
3. Emphasis on last year, there is now a lot of tape that ops can study on Matt, so they are game planning him more effectively, hence his struggles. Add to that the games he has struggled in this year, and the types of defense that caused that and he will have similar types of problems in SL. But, with the progression he is showing maybe less than previous games (SL being banged up helps too)
4. Support of a team should be for the team, not for the individual.
