Still can't get over seeing Pop Warner do well, can you?
That's OK. I think he'd be more than happy to get in some pitch & catch time against the Rams. It's not like AZ has to break some sort of losing streak in STL or anything, regardless of the QB we start. Linehan better keep the Tums handy for this one.

Nothing against Warner, in fact I was cheering for him the last two games. Too bad he was taken out since I think he could have lead the final drive better than Leinart.
I'm still true to myself. If the Rams can't do it (which is the case this season:bag: ) then I hope the BigRed can, just not against the Rams.:peace:
Linehan better be packing his bags after starting Bulger again.
Looks like the division is between the BigRed and Seahawks this season. I hope the BigRed give you the season you've all been waiting so long for....the division title, conference title and hopefully a Super Bowl win in your own stadium. No fans deserve it more (well other than Rams fans).

It's sad to see the injuries take that team down, but the Cards have definitely been there before. You guys will just have to rebuild a little longer from the GSOT years...

I think you're right about that. As far as the other stuff, it's there for the taking. If the Cards keep playing D the way they are and the offense gets rolling, they can challenge anyone in the NFC.

17 is so much of a joke its funny. I get a laught out of him trying to defend the Lambs. Yes 17 I do live in the ST Louis area and would NEVER EVER switch sides and be a Lambs fan. The players our second rate except for the Holt, Bruce and Jackson. Thats it. The rest of the team would not even be on the 2nd string on most teams. Well I believe the Rams offense is built barring injuries....though more O-line help would be nice. The defense needs more help in general except at DB. D-line, LBs, safeties are pretty much crapola. Special teams have improved.

Wow. Didn't know supporting the Rams could have an effect on the one's ability to do maths. Generally speaking a 0 in the Wins column means you actually haven't beaten anybody yet this year. Maybe you'd stand a chance if you were, say, the 4-0 Steelers. Oh wait, we beat them on Sunday too. My bad...

17 has always been a closet Big Red fan. But you can not condone a person for rooting for there local team. There is still a lot people in St Louis the are now Lambs fans, but still care about what the Cardinals do. Everytime I go back wearing my Cardinals gear I have local people tell me the Bidwill tore their hearts out when he moved the team out. They still care for the Cardinals except when they play the Lambs. But it would be hard to find anyone that likes Bill Bidiwll.
I am kind of glad to see 17 back, even though I got tired of seeing all of the ****** slamming.

I wouldn't say the BigRed destroyed Pittsburgh. What the BigRed did was not allow the Steelers to come back. That was most surprising and bodes well for your team this season.
BTW: There's already enough stains on the dome's seats after the losses to the Panthers and 49ers.:bag:

Fortunately, no. When I go I want to see the Rams, not schlubs signed off the street playing for peanuts and beer. With what Georgia and Shaw are extracting for tickets and concessions these days I won't pay for a worse team than was fielded in the preseason. Besides it's during the school year....best opportunity to get back is when the game is close to Thanksgiving or Christmas. This is shaping up to be an epic day for St. Louis BigRed fans. You caught the Rams at the perfect time. The Rams are down to only Barron on the O-line since I don't consider Romberg much of a starter. Incognito's return is still questionable. I look at your front 4 and then Wilson....it's going to be ugly. Epic ugly. Enjoy!

Hey 17.
I'm always worried about wounded animals, especially in Lambs clothing, fighting back hard. So I still see this weekend's game as a really tough one. BUT looking at the potential match ups, like a homer I cant see where the Cards are going to be totally blown away. I like your Wrs, and worry about our CBs, but even with this in my mind, still think we can get to Bulger. And if its Wilson again, I cant see Bulger lasting the full game.
Where do you think the Rams are going to cause us most problems?

I expect the BigRed to win easily. But being the BigRed nothing should be taken for granted. There's so many variables from the Rams side that are still not known despite the numerous injuries to starters.
Bulger: Will he play? If so he's limited in his movement to see the field, has happy feet AND an injured knee. One hit to his 2 broken ribs and he could be out for good. If he doesn't play then it's likely Frerotte though due to his lack of mobility perhaps Fitzpatrick? Fitzpatrick came through before in this type of situation though it was against the Texans.
Incognito: Will he start? If so he gives the QB better protection....IF he's really healthy.
DBs: Not sure you have much to be concerned with here as long as your front 4 get good penetration and Clancy sends the blitz OFTEN. Now for the Rams since Hill is still out and Brown hasn't played yet I don't expect much. Bartell has shown some promise and physically will match up well with Fitzy. Walls should not start so that and Leinart starting should help the Rams.
WRs: This is where it gets dicey. Holt is still not near 100% from knee surgery. At this moment he's playing on reputation alone. Bruce is injured and may not play. Bennett is definitely injured and not practiced in the offense though he will play. Looker is injured and will likely not line up. The real potential for news here is that it looks like this is the game we get to see Hagans start. He was the most exciting Rams player in camp and the preseason. For me it is his progress that I'm looking forward to watching in this game.
BigRed Defense: Should be able to exploit the Rams O-line at will. Without Jackson the threat of Leonard and McMichael is greatly reduced due to the need for max protect. BigRed should blitz all game and likely will provide ample season highlight film fare.
It's easy to support the Rams when they are on top huh? That's what FRONTRUNNERS do!
I supported the BigRed for over 20 years in St. Louis so I well know what it's like to not be a frontrunner. This type of season is not new to me.

I won't tell you how bad the Ewes are, and how their colours have started to run, like Woolite in the spring. Whatever that means. It just flows well. I have learned not talk about wins until they happen. The Rams are still the Rams, and they have handed us our hats more than once. It does appear though that we may have turned the corner.

Rams have a Lombardi Trophy and 2 NFC titles in St. Louis. The Rams have more than made an excellent return on the investment for the Dome.

Sounds like the 49er and Steeler fans we've been dealing with so far this season. Still living in the past?
That's ok, we're used to hearing it. What counts now is what happens this week. We have injuries just like you do, but we have filled in much better than you. You have no starting T's, RB, or QB. Too bad that all you have to brag about is your SB Trophy, which is great to have, but means absolutely nothing right now...

Apparently you failed to grasp the context of my post? Never mind. However the BigRed's history of Super Bowl era failure is unique. No doubt you take pride in that.

I might start spending more time on this board again if I have someone to argue with other than USC fans.
Welcome back 17, try not to screw it up again.
And as far the game is concerned I smell a trap. Whisenhunt better be doing his best Admiral Akbar impersonation this week or we're screwed. :cardinals:

Start Warner so the vaunted Rams defense can see that Leinart bait by half time. Habanero ice cream is waiting for ******.
Rams 21
BigRed 17
Have the Rams scored 21 points this year?

No they wouldn't. Their problems have always extended well into the front office and culminate with ******. Hopefully they can get their act together enough to win the division this year, perhaps much more.

Wow, trash talking from Cards fans. That is something I never would have believed. I was a bigred fan for most of my life until they left for greener pastures in the desert. I even pulled for them after the moved away until my second favorite team moved to the STL. But now I am living in the desert, so I watch the BigRed when they are not opposite the Rams. It is good to see the BigRed actually looking like a tough team, they sure made the right choice in head coach.
I think they will beat the Rams this weekend, even though Gus is starting for the Rams. I think this Cards team is going to be too physical for the Rams. But, I have watched the Cards for too long to ever even think about trash talking. I am calling a 28 to 13 win for the BigRed.

Welcome! These guys live to trash talk since it's all they've ever had. It's like raising a baby by cussing it out every time you see it. Now that's all most here know how to do.:ha: The Rams are my favorite team since the move to St. Louis and the BigRed are now my next favorite team. If my Rams can't win it which this year that's a given....then I hope the BigRed can win it all, just not against the Rams.

Yeah, all one of ya! 17 you are like a bad penny.
I do feel for you and your Rams, been there! I would like to beat them at they're best but stomping on them when down will be OK too.
Not like you haven't done that before to us and others, with all due respect.

Your ignorance is as sincere as ever. Rams have an overall history of tremendous success. '99-'01 was merely the latest episode of excellence. Now the BigRed.........:iconrolf:

If the Cardinals can smell blood...they'll be 3-2 come Monday.

No that was the low point however the Rams followed a 4-12 season with a 16-3 season. Multiple NFL championships, Super Bowl championship, and 2nd in the NFL in post season games played is your wife's Rams. Definitely a woman of great intellect and bad eyesight.:nelson:

Thanks Jester! Rams are in epic suck mode. They currently hold the NFL record for most possessions without a TD.
