If you believe that the Cardinals will (not hope, not wish, not maybe) make the playoffs this year, sign onto this thread and reply.

I will check this thread when we do make the playoffs (I believe that we will make it this year) and see who believed in this team after the bye week.

If for some reason, we don't make it, this list will represent those who were either wrong (if we just miss it by a game) or delusional (if we miss it by a lot).

Going into the season, I had us finishing 11-5 with a first-round bye. Obviously all of the injuries, penalties and turnovers put that out of reach, but I still like us to finish 9-7 or 10-6 and make the tournament. With 5 of our last 8 at home, the fans will have a big impact on the end of the season.:cardinals:

I know I am going to get killed, but I never once believed and still don't believe that this team is going to the playoffs this year. The NFC is too close to call and we lost two critical games against two teams we will be vying with for the WC. If we lose this weekend and SEA wins you can pretty much kiss the playoffs goodbye. Our second half is just as tough as the first half as the weaker teams are much better than advertised.

Now that being said I have said all along that 2008 will be a special year for us and I still believe that. In 2008 this will be a 12-4 team especially if we do well in FA and re-sign Dansby and Pace and bring in a good corner. Even better if we draft Cason.

The Cards are going to be a VERY good team for a long time, but this won't start until '08. Hang in there guys we are almost there.

At first, I had my reservations but now I've changed my mind. STL is decimated by injuries, SF has no offense, Seattle can't run the ball. I think this opens up the Cards defense, which has surprised me by how well they've played and Russ Grimm's offensive line to carry this team to the NFC West title. Seattle used to have a left side (Jones and Hutch) but not anymore. Now we have the best O-line in the division, and we'll turn it loose in the 2nd half of this year.

With the way the other teams in our division are playing, the Playoffs have become a surprisingly realistic goal.

As close as the NFC is going to be, I like our chances at winning the division much more then our chances of winning a wild card. The question for me, is what team do I have more faith in going down the stretch..

Seattle, or Arizona?

I have seen the Cardinals fight to the wire in every single game. I have seen the Seahawks right on our own field, give up and stop trying. Anyone remember the forced fumble to beat them? 3 time outs left, and enough time that they could get the ball back if they held us, but they didn't even try. They let the time tick away, let us kick the field goal, and were content to go home losers. This years Cardinals would never give up like that.

Seattle is only up on us by 1 game, and they have a whole lot of quit in them. I'm giving the division to the Cardinals because they simply want it more.

I believe that we win out at home so that gives us 8 wins then I think we split on the road, winning at TB and Cincy. That gives us 10 wins total and makes us division champs, Playoffs here we come.

The Cards WILL make the playoffs this year and I will be sitting in section 450 watching them host the NY Giants.

The SeaHawks Aren't getting worse but, they're not getting better either.. They seem to have peaked their superbowl year..
