Haven't seen what happened but I had that game tucked away thinking I was in good shape for my pool this week. I return and find out I'm screwed!

At first the announcers said no, they're not reviewable. But the refs did review and overturned.
For those that didn't see, the ball hit the left upright, then bounced off the curved pipe that's attached to and BEHIND the crossbar. Then it bounced back onto the playing field.
Funny thing is, the 2 refs behind the goal were looking at it and I have no idea how they could miss that it hit behind the crossbar.
Oh well, got overturned and Clev. wins in OT

First let me say: Fox's "Visa Halftime report" SUCKS. You're telling me that you don't have time to show atleast one highlight from each game that happend? They skimmed over 3/4 of the games by just stating the score. I guess it's too important to let roundtable commentators get their airtime expressing their opinions than to update people on the game results. I really wanted to see the play that everyone was talking about but the Fox halftime guys didn't even mention it.
Anyways, I just saw the replay and that was ******* awesome. You're right though, I have no clue how the ******* refs couldn't see that when it happend, they were standing right under the damn posts.

After seeing it for myself (before I had just heard it described), it looks like initially there wasn't any call. One guy back there thought it was good and the other thought it was no-good. So there wasn't any signal one way or other. I've later heard (Cowher on CBS) that they never took a look from the review booth, the guy thinking it was good made his case and that's how it was called.

There was no review. No one went to the "porn" viewer. The just discussed it and came up with the correct decision.

The officials on the field wanted to review it, but the guys in the booth told the guys on the field that they could not review it, and that the decision had to be made on the field. So they had a conference and the back judge was more persuasive in presenting his argument. FG good...and the rest is history.

That's because it's a "Non-Reviewable" play. They did discuss it between the head official and the two guys back there. In the end they made the corrct call...once the ball hit the support bad behind the crossbar, the FG is GOOD and the play is technically dead at that point. Even if the ball comes back into play afterwards. The officials, without revieing the call, ended up making the CORRECT call.

As I told my Father in Law...the Browns pulled off a miracle kick but does that really make up for Art Modell bringing a Super Bowl to Baltimore...lol
Really the karma thing is kinda lame considering that the Browns have consistently played the Ravens close even last year those games could have went either way. It sucks cause a lot of former ravens players and execs typically migrate to Cle.
