NASHVILLE, TN, March 15, 2006 – The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with safety Chris Hope, an unrestricted free agent from the Super Bowl Championship Pittsburgh Steelers.

Veteran safety Chris Hope becomes the fourth new Titan in three days.

Titans agree to terms with Patriots WR Givens

Titans agree to terms with Jets Pro Bowl center Mawae

NASHVILLE, TN, March 14, 2006 – The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with a third unrestricted free agent, former New York Jets center Kevin Mawae.

The Titans are replacing departed center Justin Hartwig with six-time Pro Bowler Kevin Mawae.

Titans agree to terms with Colts LB Thornton

NASHVILLE, TN, March 13, 2006 – The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with Indianapolis Colts unrestricted free agent linebacker David Thornton.

***! So much for the days of salary cap **** for the Titans. They are quickly adding playoff talent and veteran leadership to the roster. I think they are still a couple of years away from being playoff contenders again, but they are making the right moves to accelerate the process of being back on top of the AFC once again.
