This year, the RV parking I normally get was not on my invoice - it has been the past 2 years. I called and had it added and thought I'd post here for others. I really like that spot and the grass fields around the area are great for the kids.

Them omitting your parking would concern me. Yes, you caught it and called to have it fixed. How many will lose their parking passes for oversize this year because they didn't realize it was omitted? That is not cool!

Thanks for posting this.

So I checked on line this AM and the parking didn't show up on my electronic invoice. I called again. This time I was told they haven't set the price yet and I will be getting a letter soon and if I still want the parking I'll be able to get it by calling yet again. Am I the only one with this issue - anyone else?

Did you have to pay for oversize parking last yr.? I thought that was free, but first come first served. This isn't sounding good at all.

I don't know because I have preferred East which went up $5.

Oversized Lot F was $20/game or $200 for the season. My guess is that will go up as well as preferred did. the problem is, if you cancel out, they cannot put you any place but the brown lot which is a couple of miles away from the stadium and requires you to take a shuttle.

Yes, it's always been $200 - the same as preferred - but the first two years it just showed up on my invoice. This morning, the customer service rep wouldn't give me the price, only that a letter would be going out and I could respond to the letter if I wanted the spot. I must say with respect to this one transaction, I've had better experiences doing business.

Even though you paid before, it's weird that they didn't have a new amount, like with preferred. In essence, it IS preferred parking that you paid for. What possibly can be the problem here? A management snafu? Or maybe they want to really jack up the price. None of this sounds like a good situation.

Good luck and let us all know what happens.

Yes, and is not to be confused with regular Lot F. A friend of mine had an RV for one game last year and we called the Cards to see if we could just buy a Lot F pass for that day from somebody on eBay, but they said no, it had to be specially marked Oversized Parking F.

I saw a number of RV's in regular Lot F last season. I think the secret is " ask forgiveness not permission" and slip them an extra $20.

Well, I checked today and there is a $300 charge out there. Guess that's for the parking they were going to send me a letter about - maybe it's in the mail? I'll pay it but I'm going to ***** about it all the same. Feel free to reply about how much other teams charge to make me feel better! :cardinals:

I won't bring up the other team charges but I'm wondering why you pay for the preferred? We are in the regular east lot and we are generally in the lot between 1 1/2 and 3 hours before game time for tailgating. I have been as close as about 15 spaces from the entrance and I've never had to park further than 1/2 way between the back of the lot and the stadium. I believe I've heard entry/exit is easier from preferred but honestly, we pull right into the lot before the game and after, we either sit and have a drink or we hightail it out as soon as the last second ticks off and we really didn't have a bad experience last year.

I seem to recall that you come in from CA so maybe you're cutting it closer to game time and in that case, I don't know how tough it would be to get into the non-preferred lots.

Might be a way to save a few bucks.

I don't know if Tailgater comes in from Calif., but I do. The reason we have preferred is because I didn't want to walk from Westgate, which is where I was going to be assigned, because I was a new season ticket holder. Yep, we made a choice to pay, rather than hike in. But I think a $5 a game raise in the preferred is a bit steep and now it sounds like they raised the oversize $10 a game. OUCH! To still have free parking, then hiking the preferred parking, well........... but life isn't always fair is it?

No, I'm local and we take the RV because the crew I tailgate with have come to expect it! I supply the awning, TV, and most of the stuff one would need to have a good tailgate. At times it's been a blessing for a few of the older folks who really struggle with the heat. We get there before 9 and leave when they kick us out - game day for us is just that - ALL DAY! It is a primo spot though - kids and adults run around hours before gametime, it's cooler than asphalt, and there's even rest rooms down there which I've never seen at any other stadium. In other words, the cost is purely self inflicted but since I'm paying I have every right to complain, don't I?

I have both the oversized lot and and orange lot pass. After my 8 year old son got mowed down by an adult running to catch a pass on the very crowded Great Lawn I told myself I wouldn't give up the oversized pass. There is a football field, bathrooms and a greeat group of people in the oversized lot who know how to tailgate and respect the fact there is more people than just them in the lot. I don't think 30.00 a game is terrible for what you get, a safe spot for my kids, my rig and room to move!

The nice aspect of being in the oversized lot is you typically meet and make friends with the same people each game and year. We've grown our tailgate to blend with others and its a great social event...Typically people are watching out for each other.
