My neighbor just told me he received something in the mail offering up 3 game (he thought it was 3) "mini" packages. I didn't see it so I'm not sure exactly what it said but I was wondering if any of you have heard about this.

Another indication that the season ticket sell outs and waiting lists are over. But if this draft keeps going well, it should add to what should be a good season. And we all know that the band wagon fans will be back next year.

I'll take a band wagon Cardinal fan over a visiting team fan any day!

IF it's true, it's definitely an indication that current season ticket holders and waiting list, haven't filled the place. In that case, mini-plans are a great way to fill the seats. Also, in the tough economic times, those people that couldn't afford the whole season, might be inclined to pick-up a mini-plan.

Glad they're thinking outside the box.

Don't know that it means anything, but for some reason, 4 games are highlighted (on my pc, grey color) on the following games:

Pre-season N.O.
Season - Oct. 5, Buf
Dec. 14 Minnesota
Dec. 28 Seattle

It's on the individual tickets section and season ticket section.

I noticed this earlier, but it didn't mean much until the mini-plan post.

Hmmmmmmmmm

Maybe nothing, like when all of our accounts disappeared for a day, but maybe it does. Or someone messing with us.:taunt:

I thought in past the mini ticket package were made where you picked what 3 teams you would want.
If they were going to give you a choice of packages, I think one pack would have the Cowgirls, with the Fins and the Viqueens. The other package would include the Giants with some one like the Jills and Hawks. I can see them making you buy a preseason game also as part of the package (aka D'Backs).

I wouldn't think they'd have the Cowboys in any package. They'll sell that out. And yes, most teams offering packages, make you take a pre-season game. But I don't know if those highlights really meant anything, just found it interesting.

I know the Chargers and Rams have had pre-determined packages to choose from. A, B, C, with different combinations of teams. I'd think the Cards would do something similar.

I don't believe this at all, sorry. First, there's not one mention of anything other than season tickets on the web site. Wouldn't they find it beneficial to promote a 3-game package if they actually were selling one? Also, I asked recently about packages and was told very clearly "no". They do season tickets and individual game tickets. There is no 3-game package.

I received a notice yesterday stating I could keep the tickets I dropped with a different payment plan. 25% now and May, June, and July. There is no waiting list people.

I guess TNTcardfans neighbor didn't care to read his letter or just wanted to rattle a cage.

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully you're taking them up on the offer and you're renewing?

My Dad mentioned to me that he received an offer in the mail for a "mini pack". It included the games already mentioned in this thread. I have two sets of season tickets already paid for. I'm wondering if I can change one set of tickets to this mini package?

I've said on here a few times the Cards are allowing my dad a payment plan on his season tickets. Well, what everyone is talking about here is the brochure they sent out, which my dad got on Saturday, that outlines that payment plan. That's all it is. There is no "mini-plan" or "flex-pack". The payment plan is called "Flex-Pay". I'd scan and show it but I don't know how. But it is NOT a mini-plan. This should put that notion to rest.

Man, people are really looking for grasping for stuff with this whole sellout and season ticket/wait list thing.

I'm not saying it's definite since I didn't see it with my own eyes. I'm just curious if anyone else heard anything. My neighbor is not a season ticket holder.

We live in Glendale north of the stadium and I'm wondering if they targeted a certain area although I can't figure out why they would limit it.

But I will go on record and say that I don't think the season is a sell out and the waiting list is used up. Only my hunch though.

And I've already renewed my tickets. For the whole season.

Teams will usually offer a mini-package ONLY if the season is not a sellout. It appears the Cards' marketing department is still trying to woo season ticket holders by extending deadlines and calling them.

If there is no season ticket sellout, we may indeed see the mini packages.

I had 4 and now I have 2. I had nephews staying with me this past year, hence the extras. My main two are a 10 year club lease so I'm here for awhile! Thanks for asking tho!

Are they offering mini packages before seat upgrades are complete?

I don't think they are offering mini packages at all yet....Until they do seat upgrades, and go through the several thousand on the waiting list picking through the leftovers (and I've heard up to 5K)....then, only then, would they do anything with selling the remainders. And if this were true, why haven't season ticket holders seen anything on it. Why is it coming from "My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious."

I'm very skeptical about stuff like this until I see it for myself.

I wrote the Cards staff an email yesterday to see where they were in the process.

Their reply: "We’re going to start on upgrades in the coming weeks. We’re still working through the renewal process but upgrades are coming next. I’ll do whatever I can to assist.

Thanks for the writing."

No mention of mini-packages in their response...

i called to ask about upgrades. they said we'll be processing them in the near future. (i thought these were supposed to be done weeks ago) and of course may 16 is still the final deadline to complete invoice. even though the process has been delayed, they still want our money now!

You could probably get an extention if you asked. The process is delayed because they're scrambling a little as evidenced by offering to extend payment plans for those who have dropped.

I am currently on the waiting list because I thought that would be a sure way to upgrade. It did not work last year but we are pretty sure we went very close to the top of the list from what we heard last year.
Have not heard anything from them yet this year and do have an upgrade request in.

Three of those highlighted games might be because of flexible scheduling and the Thursday night on ESPN.

They have asterisks for the flexible schedule games, and why would they just highlight a couple and not all? It just doesn't make any sense, rhyme or reason. Maybe just the web page manager messing with us. ;joker:

As my hubby would say "Don't worry. You can't do anything about it." Arghhhhhhh Hate that answer, but he's right.:poke:

Mini Packages are going to be available but not like before where you could select the games you wanted. There are trying to package "premier" games with the preseason and other weaker draws. My rep (who I will not name) says the renewals are slower than expected but they are hopeful the extensions to pay will help a lot. No comment on the waiting list or when the relocations will be completed. "Time is running out so if will need to be soon".

That's all I was told today.

I have two season tickets right now paid for. I dropped another three.

I wanted to upgrade my seats and went on the waiting list instead of trying to upgrade my current seats. I'm purchasing the additional seats for "business" purposes. I still have not received any calls or letters, so the waiting list does exist.
