"Buffalo tendered an offer sheet to Cardinals starting left guard Reggie Wells, a restricted free agent, the Bills announced Friday.According to the Buffalo News, the five-year deal is worth $17.6 million, including a $3 million signing bonus and a $2 million roster bonus. The Cardinals are believed to be about $14 million under the $102 million salary cap, so they have the space to match the offer. They have seven days to decide. If they decline to match, they'll receive a sixth-round pick from Buffalo in return."

If he's our best offensive lineman than we have to match it.

He would be more than worth it if he was the guy Loney was gonna put at our starting center position this year.We must upgrade at that spot.We have Browns for both Guard spots now and I only see Ross as an expensive backup or another try to beat out the ORT we draft in the second round.

Thats some good money for Wells for sure.Especially after his ankle injury and they don't know if he is 100% or not. We better get Hayes signed before someone tries this same deal on him.

We're expected to match Buffalo's offer this week. Looks like Reggie is staying in AZ.

Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports the Arizona Cardinals likely will match the Buffalo Bills' offer sheet to OG Reggie Wells, a restricted free agent, Cardinals vice president for football operations Rod Graves said. Cardinals officials will meet early this week to make a final determination, but Graves said he expects the club will keep Wells. "Our position all along is we wanted to keep Reggie," he said, "and I think that's probably what we'll do."
