Larry Allen would be (to use a baseball analogy) a grand slam signing.
But I fear we may be done.

Seattle will probably sign Allen. We really need him on the left side though.:banghead:

They lose Hutch and possibly sign Allen ... what is Denny thinking .. ??? we need to bring in another vet for the O-line ... we need more talent and more depth ... Allen would have been a good pickup for us ...

Larry Allen's contract is rather large and we are probably focusing on an LB or CB with the left over money we have...You guys can keep wishing for Allen and other high priced FA's but we arent going to sign them. Whats the point to sign Reggie Wells to a fairly decent contract for him to sit on the bench?
