I do not have the NFL channel. My neighbor claims that that the NFL channel has exclusive rights to the games it broadcasts. Won't one of the local AZ channels pick up the Card vs Philly on Thanksgiving?
I wanted to pass out on my own couch after stuffing my gullet with turkey and watching the game on Thanksgiving. Can someone please clarify for me if the game will be broadcast on a local channel or not?

I've had every NFL Network Thursday game come up on my HD lineup on Cox Cable even though I don't get the NFL Network. I think they make it free for everyone during the game itself and pre/post coverage, but the rest of the time you need to be a subscriber to see everything else.
No sense in them blocking a national game from being viewed - that's the whole point of having another national game.

It's broadcast locally in the Phoenix/Metro area, but all other markets can only see the game on NFL Network.

I also posted this in another thread. According to Darren Urban the game in Philly will be shown locally on FOX Ch. 10. The monday night game against the Whiners will be shown on ch. 3.:redtowel:
Nominations and Cards on TV
And as a side note, with "Monday Night Football" coming up and then the NFL Network game on Thanksgiving night, those without cable -- at least in Arizona -- are OK. The Monday night game will be simulcast locally on Ch. 3 (KTVK), while the game in Philly will be on locally on Ch. 10 (Fox).

Thanks, I knew I saw Urban mention that, I just couldn't find it for some reason.
As long as I can watch it here in Phoenix, I'm good. :cardinals:

I have Cox as well. I get the NFL network, but haven't found the HD broadcast. What channel number?
