Monday Night Football Traffic

Hey guys, I'm trying to plan what time to leave Mesa to head out west. I remember the Thursday preseason game, against the Saints, traffic was awful. It was backed up from around 48th st. on the Loop 202 and on. This is my first MNF game and I was wondering how bad traffic was last time.

(ps. took 2 hours to get into stadiums from Mesa last Thursday game.)

It will be the same or worse. Whatever time you want to get there, leave 90 minutes before just to be safe.

If, by chance, traffic starts to move on I-10, beware of the 400 new speed cameras they have installed from the I-17 split all the way out towards the 101 and on the 101 in several spots near the stadium.

There is cameras from Gilbert to Alma School Rd on WB60 and then again I-10 WB 40st and the SR Bridge at the I-10/17 split

Might be worth going North on I-17 to the 101 West and go backside if you have the time. In preseason it took 1.5 hours to go the 15 miles from downtown out I-10. I know it is longer but might be a better way to go.

There are going to be SO MANY people late to the game. If anyone is trying to show up AT game time you better leave an extra hour early.

People, we are talking about MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL - Cards are in 1st place. MAKE IT HAPPEN. Leave early.

There's one thing I've learned in my years of going to games...NEVER EVER try to skimp on time for a MNF game. These are THE BEST GAMES EVER for tailgating!

Leave early and don't stress...you don't want to be sitting in your car in dead stop traffic already mad....

if any haven't left yet, there are camera also on the 101 on the west side.

if you go north on 17 to the 101 westbound, get off at 91st ave and go right down. we live at 91st and peoria and takes us normal game days 15 min and on night games about 20 min
