Kevin Seifert, of the Star Tribune, reports the Minnesota Vikings apparently are weighing all options before deciding how to react to the seven year, $49 million offer sheet receiver WR Nate Burleson signed Friday, March 24, with the Seattle Seahawks. Burleson could remain in limbo until Friday, March 31, the deadline for the Vikings either to match, pass or contest the terms of the Seahawks' controversial offer.

A lot of twists in this plot ... interesting to see what the Vikings will do ..

I think this was just the stupidest move by Seattle...why would anyone pay a virtually unproven player that much money. Seattle wants revenge, and they are getting the bad end of the deal!! I would take Hutch anyday of the week, even 5 times on Sunday over Nate.

49 million for Nate....they got the names mixed up with Hutch...

49 million for a 2nd string (at best) wr is crazy....:toothorn: wake up crazy!

there's no way the Vikes match it. They'll get a 3rd round pick and not have to pay 49 mill to him.

 Nice move Seattle.

Next they plan on signing a LB with a torn tendon another 49 million...wait they already did that.

They're going after Bill Gramatica for 36 million over 4 years. :d'oh:
