View Full Version : How sic was the video of Fitz?
SERIOUSLY now, for those who watched the game, how sic was the video of Warner thorwing 40 yard passes to Fitz and him plucking them out of the air with one hand!? With his ipod tuned in as well!
I liked when they said how Fitz credits KW for much of his success, showing him how to run routes, get in and out of breaks, and be so much more than just a guy that goes up and down the numbers.
He is hands down the #1 receiver in the NFL.

They compliment one another!! Quite a pair, and a lot of fun to watch!! I find it interesting how so many have forgotten how Warner worked with the Cards receivers, when he first signed on. They had no idea how to catch a ball on the run. I remember so many fans were in aw after seeing it, coarse.., it was never appreciated by some. LOL

Yea I saw that I was impressed but not amazed, Fitz has the perfect hands. If a genetic scientist were making the perfect human they'd use Fitzgerald's hands in there project. The man continues to impress, and continues to get better.

Being in Pittsburgh, I saw Larry throughout his college career. My best friend's brother-in-law is a Pitt coach and I actually met LF. Great guy!
As soon as I saw him catching balls in college with his hands, combined with his vertical, I knew he'd be a beast. But even in college he'd catch an amazing TD and simply hand the ball to the official...what a treat.

Seriously, I think he could catch a ball with his feed if necessary, he's just the born wide-receiver. I saw that video and the most impressive thing is how easy it looks when he grabs the ball out of the air. But some credit with these catches has to go to the chemistry between Fitz and Warner, look at the 42yrd TD, the ball goes 50yrds through the air and is uncatchable for any other human being than Fitz. I mean the corner could have stood right there and fitz would have outjumped him. It's a great thing to watch.

If you watch that play again, watch how Warner leads Fitz to the corner with the ball. It wasn't never a "jump ball" as Fitz got a step on the corner and safety and Kurt was able to lead him to the corner where only Fitz had a chance at it. Neither defender could catch up to Fitz and as a result, were never a factor on the ball.
