ESPN.com's John Clayton reports Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy continues to be optimistic that QB Brett Favre will play this season, but he's not rushing the quarterback into a decision. McCarthy said Monday, March 27, he continues to talk to Favre, who is watching the Packers offseason to see if he wants to return. Favre pushed back the payment of a $3 million roster bonus until next month to give himself more time to decide.
