I said this a couple of times in the gameday thread but in my 33 years as a Cardinal fan, this has got to be the most complete win in this franchises history. The defense shut Carolina's 2 headed rushing attack down after the first drive. They forced Delhomme into mistakes and flat out confused their offense all game long. The offense, after it looked like the running game wasn't going to be working, we went back to what got us to the dance. Then we exploited the overrated Panther defense. Between the 2 top sackers in the league the supposed weak Cardinal offensive line gave up zero sacks. Zero. Bagel. Donut. Zilch. Then in sew up time, we then racked up the rushing yards. Fitz was his usual filthy self. I would argue that Larry Fitzgerald is the best WR in the NFL today. Bar none. The only other receiver you can argue is his teammate Q. Then we have Rackers. 4 for 5 in FG and came within a whisker of hitting a 51 yarder at the end of the half. Then there's Graham. Putting Carolina inside their 20 twice. Everything went our way. Even a big defensive holding call on a running play. Now we're going to the NFC Championship game. It still hasn't sunk in. This is te highest I've ever been without the help of some kind of chemicals. Enjoy it people. Mark my words: We're going to the Super Bowl.

In my 36 years on this earth, this was the best Cardinals game I've ever seen them play. Watching them drive down the field getting first down after first down and taking nearly 7 minutes off the clock in the 4th quarter before kicking the FG was awesome. We saw a complete Championship team today. :cardinals:

We could have easily run it up at that point and had Kurt throw it but we didn't. I was hoping that Whiz would have gone for the dagger shot after Fox went for 2 then the onsides kick with 50 seconds left let alone burning timeouts with 4 minutes left and us picking up first downs. At that point you call in the dogs. It didn't look to me like they were still fighting because we were giving them 15 yards in the middle of the field. They got whupped. End the game and move on to next year.
