I was there but the wife recorded it and so I get to watch from the easy chair this time..so far so good, just in the first Q after our scoring drive.

Philly commentary- what the hell is Howard Eskin doing roaming the sidelines? Watch at the 5:11 mark of the first Q you see good ole Howard right behind Andy wearing a headset. I guess he kept the weight off all these years.

That false start on the Beagles first drive was huge..

:yahoo:

Will add more comments as I watch more of the game.

watched it twice, once last night, and again this afternoon. By the end of the week I think it will be up to around 12 times. I can't get enough of that game, and the celebrations, and the interviews :hurray: :hurray:

It is interesting seeing things from the stadium first and then from the TV..you miss a ton of stuff from being live.

Warner YELLING at Haley right after the second series and a terrible punt by Graham, he had a very poor outing but his groin must be seriously bothering him.

Hood needs to turn his head more often or be cut this offseason.

McNubb missed some easy passes and our secondary is terrible..was saying that the entire game live.

:exclamationmark:

The biggest problem we will have in two weeks is our secondary.

I'm much worse than all of you. I have watched each playoff game at least 4 times. I still have every playoff game saved on the TIVO. Gonna watch the game again in a minute.

Geez Aikman is a goof, so many stupid comments and we are only in the middle of the second Q.

Brown mugged the Philly receiver and they show the replay and Aikman says "that was a good play by Brown, you could throw a flag but it was a good play"

If the reverse happened to us I would have been ticked..he was mugging him good.

I watched the first half in detail, kept backing up and using slo-mo.
How hard is it to re-watch the third quarter? Watching it live was tough.

I noticed in pregame Tery Bradshaw said he knew in his heart that the Cardinals would win and that no one protects their home turf as fiercely as the cardinal. I think he tried to use the Latin genus and species but I don't think he knew what he was talking about.
We are the Cardinalis cardinalis, although the South American Cardinal has a cool name: Cardinalis phoeniceus

The Cardinals are now 6-0 against teams with bird logos in OUR Nest

Yeah I am not enjoying this 3rd Q, they really had our number..the OL went to crap and the secondary for most of the game did NOT get it done, so many open receivers the whole game.

If McNubb was Kurt in his accuracy, Philly would have scored MANY more points no doubt in my mind.

Next year we MUST improve the OL and the secondary.

Eskin is a sideline commentator for WiP. Don't know if he does it for YSP or not but he definately does sideline stuff for WiP. Regardless, he's an idiot.

I didnt know they allowed sideline radio reporters..shows you on gameday I didnt listen to WIP back then.

2 min warning, our secondary got L-U-C-K-Y in this game, they played very very poorly.

Watching the game on TV it concerns me greatly about how open the Birds receivers were open the whole game and if McNabb was accurate at all we would have lost this game.

I'm telling you, the game plan was to force McNabb to throw the ball to win it, and that is not his strongest suite. I think they were honestly hoping for some more int's from him by giving him so much time back there...but hey, in the end, a win is a win...I really don't care how they won as long as it was fair, and I believe it was.

Go Cards!
