In 1963 the MVP's of both Major Baseball Leagues, the NFL, and the NBA all wore the same uniform number -- #32. Sandy Kofax, Elston Howard, Jimmy Brown, and Elgin Bayler.

On a side note who can tell me who wheres number 32 on the Cards? Clue he could be an MVP. aLSO WHO WEARS 32 ON THE Suns? And if this guy can come back next year, he could also be an MVP candidate!!!

And by the way it wasn't a charge I was there , the only reason they called a charge was cause Bol got nailed in his nads as the photo clearly shows. MAN LOOK HOW HIGH Marjerle used to get up. He was somethin.

Wow, pretty amazing......

SAN DIEGO - Say this about Kaz Matsui: He knows how to start a season.

For the third straight year, Matsui homered in his first at-bat. This time, the second baseman added a wrinkle, hitting an inside-the-park homer on Thursday night in his first plate appearance of the 2006 season, after being activated from the DL.

He became the first player in MLB history to homer in his first at-bat the first three years of his big-league career, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Ken Griffey Jr. homered in his first at-bat three straight seasons (1997-99) with the Mariners, but 1997 was not his rookie year. "I feel sorry being compared to him, it's Ken Griffey Jr.," Matsui said through an interpreter.

Did you know that Wilt the Stilt has the record for most games in a row scoring over 50 points? He did it seven times in a row. The thing thats strange about that is that one year he AVERAGED over 50 points a game for the entire season! What that tells me is that he had a lot of very, very high scoring games because you would think that if you averaged 50+ that you would have had a streak longer than 7 games in a row over 50.

Oh, by the way, Kobe now has 4 in a row......

That the hamburger was named after the town of Hamburg in Germany ... ??

The actual hamburger as we know it today has 2 versions of how it was born ...

The honour of producing the first proper hamburger goes to Charlie Nagreen of Seymour, WI. In 1885 Nagreen introduced the American hamburger at the Outgamie County Fair in Seymour. (Seymour is recognised as the hamburger capital of the world.)

However, there is another claim to that throne. There is an account of Frank and Charles Menches who, also in 1885, went to the Hamburg, New York county fair to prepare their famous pork sausage sandwiches. But since the local meat market was out of pork sausage, they used ground beef instead. Alas, another hamburger.

Great, there goes the trade deficit...and how much do you want to bet that China continues to use up everyone else's oil so that their oil can INCREASE in value?

The only way out of this is to come up with a viable alternative to petroleum. Otherwise, demand is high and supplies are (artificially) limited.

Im hoping that they DO use this oil theyve discovered in their own country and subsequently the demand for oil elsewhere decreases, thus, lowering the price, but Im probably looking at this too simplistically and maybe Im being a little too naive!!

Not through the very large carniores and territorial herbivores it harbours, but through the veins of methane and carbon dioxide gasses it has underneath the lake bed. If punctured, the lake would explode (soda bottle effect) and release a fast moving cloud of methane (which is not only flamable but causes sore-like burns on the body) and carbon dioxide (suffocation). This has happend on a smaller scale once already. Nyos's sister lake (name escapes me) killed 1800 people when a landslide sent tons of rock straight into the lake and opened the crust beneath.
