He was pretty much a bust for the Rams, but it sounds like he's taking the game much more seriously now. You never know.

That'd be great if he could turn out to be something for us. First-round talent for peanuts.

This could be a big developement. Dom has always had the talent for the NFL, unfortunately he never had the head for it. If he's got his head on straight, he could be something.

The dude has a load of talent, and while having some good moments for us, just never really got going. He'd be a project, but I would think with some good coaching he could develop into a good one.

he has never had good coaching around him, he is worth the risk

I do hope he's better than a TE version of LenDale White...

I'm really curious to see if anything pans out with Medder..

I figured they must have had something in mind other than starting camp with four TE on the roster and Spach probably not able to play or practice till the season starts. Byrd will be a decent backup if one of the fragile duo of Pope or Patrick gets nicked again.

Hopefully he figures it out. Being from Minnesota I had the opportunity to watch him. He until a couple of years ago held the state record for most career recieving yards.

He was respectable at USC but for some reason never blossmed in the pros. Again hopefully he can become something special here.
