Fill in the blank for me!

I'm racking my brain to remember if it's three or four hours prior to game time.

Thanks!

And, just so you don't have to go fishing in the future; here's a link to the parking guidlines (http://www.azcardinals.com/gameday/pdfs/08parking_guidelines2.pdf), which call it out, though it does still say 2008..

I seem to remember them letting people in the east gates in earlier for the Monday night game last year. I think it had to do with traffic backing up into 91st Ave.

Maybe if enough of us show up early for the prime-time game against the Colts they will do the same.

Those of us who park in the oversized F lot off of 91st ave always seem to have RVs backed up onto 91st, which creates a severe traffic hazard and, sometimes, the ProEm people open the lot early. The openning of the lots is apparently controlled by the Cardinals and the City of Glendale. I have contacted the Vice President of Stadium Operations hoping to allow admittance somewhat earlier - we will see what happens. Those of us in oversized F also have to pay $300 a year for the right to park so I believe we should be able to get in a little earlier.

Last year at the (I think), Vikings game, they opened the "E" lot when the traffic backed up onto 91st Ave, then closed it again once the "first wave" had been let in. That REALLY had some people ticked off. I could see my tailgate compadres all set up, but the parking brainiacs wouldn't let anyone else in. Then just to show their power, they delayed the opening by about 10 minutes because so many people had been honking and complaining to them for 40 minutes or so. If absolute power corrupts absolutely, a little bit of power in the hands of people who otherwise have none, frustrates...absolutely!

I remember...i dunno if it was in 06 or 07 but they had to call in the goons from S.A.F.E. to actually help with the parking and it was a bunch of like 18 year olds holdings hands trying to block off where you could go... and everyone just absolutely ignored them. It was hilarious. It was funny to just see em flat out ignored and they finally just gave up and went back to their posts inside. ;joker:

This happened in the Green E lot by the way.

I wonder if the big "football" towns have some of the same ridiculous rules that we have in reference to tailgating? I personally think its ridiculous that right after the game they have security coming around telling everyone to pack up. What happened to the Sun Devil days when we could sit around and toss back a few while grilling and talking football after the game. The designated driver usually got antsy, but it was always fun to hang out with friends next to the stadium after the game! Now it seems like we have to run out after the game to hurry and start packing up before we get yelled at.

I think the no tailgating after the game is a city of Glendale thing, not the Cardinals. The problems described in this thread were mostly growing pains early on with the new stadium. This past season I experienced no issues with parking as I had during previous seasons. Whenever I had a problem in the past and complained to the Cards they responded very quickly so I believe they are continually trying to improve the parking process.

Its 4 hours early unless there are too many cars and they back up traffic on the roads then they open earlier!!!

There are some traffic flow rules that are frustrating but I can chalk them up to being necessary. Leaving the stadium, I don't think I have ever been able to turn the direction I actually want to go! The biggest disruption to having a good time is the over zealous police officers directing the traffic. They can be real ***** for absolutely no reason.
